London polymath producer Josh Ludlow, co-founder of the already seminal MAD Records and one half of the dynamic Make a Dance Duo, explores new sonic territories with his inaugural solo EP release on Belfast imprint Nocturne. Embracing his passion for eclectic disco, hypnotic chug, and music tailored for those transcendent nocturnal hours, Ludlow showcases his versatility and distinctive flair on his debut outing.

Leading the charge on Josh Ludlow's debut solo EP is the bass-led 80's influenced odyssey of 'MindwayS.' A sonic journey through contemporary psychedelia, inviting audiences to lose themselves in the sweet spot where boundaries between reality and imagination blur. In 'Touch,' Ludlow ventures into seductive sonic territory, delving into a world of cowbell-laden, slo-mo erotic disco. Live guitar licks sit comfortably shoulder to shoulder with low slung hypnotic grooves and alluring vocals in "Little Love" - perfect for the more discerning european dancefloors.

'Diska Tek!' delivers a fusion of playful cosmic energy, sitting comfortably between Cowley-esque hedonism and the contemporary Scandinavian greats. New Zealand based crate digger Frank Booker invites good friend Julien Dyne to drop the second release on his new imprint Down In the Basement.
JD picks up where The Man Called Booker left off on Vol 1 and gets straight up to speed cutting up rare boogie, disco and Afro jams and employing his trademark raw cuts in an old school style, while lacing oodles of FX 'n stuff into the mix.

The overall sound is reminiscent of the early Idjut Boys material, which is so close to Mr Booker's heart.

Whiskey Disco returns with another brilliant EP by Australian producer Kayroy, known for creating new intersections between edits, reworks, and originals that the label is known for. A driving, tension-heavy original A-side reminiscent of early Sound Stream, complimented by two wonderfully selected reworks - a smartly tightened up beautiful instrumental gem originally by Japanese guitarist & composer, Shigeru Suzuki, and an almost necessary revision of euro-disco genius Alec Costandinos’s opus "Romeo & Juliet". The mysterious Kayroy appears on his second Whiskey Disco record bringing the heat by way of sampladelic dancefloor collages packed with funk and a slight left-of-center aesthetic. 'Like Damn!' and the titular, 'Pavlova Casanova', are both hands-up, disco gaiety that will rip the heart of your chest. 'Sandy Shackles' closes out the EP conjuring the disco dub vibes of editors like Idjut Boys or Ray Mang. Just who is Kayroy – and who was he on his first Whiskey Disco appearance?

The mysterious Kayroy returns to Whiskey Disco for his second EP of 2019. Fans of his first EP will find more of the same, a raw, pastiche of samples glued together into a package of hands-up disco fire.
Rosella rolls along with a natural tendency to groove underpinned by trippy effects and classic piano and vocal riffs. You’re the Reason Why, lowers the tempo and amps up the vibes.
The B-Side is a sped-up departure from previous Kayroy fare, but sounds just as natural. Silk & Satin seems like the type of track one might hear in nearly any Harvey set, while One Night in Prague raised the tempo and will have your pulse racing with its relentless bass.

Fresh off the heels of the D’angelo Voodoo remix 7”, Kero returns with another unreleased dance floor banger. This time, K dot gets a classic city pop rework on the A-side at 119 bpm, adeptly titled “Vinyl Love”, meanwhile the B-side uses a familiar vibraphone jazz sample for an appropriately titled “B*tch Dont Kill my Vibes”. This bouncy jazz hop remix previously released almost a decade ago on Soundcloud with nearly 100k streams and even caught the attention of K dots own TDE sound engineer Mixed by Ali.

Danny Krivit is currently known as one of the music community’s greatest purveyors of top quality disco & house as he continues to perform regularly before sold-out audiences around the world. With his unique ear for what works on the dancefloor he has also become known as “King of the Re-edit.”
Danny has a deep connection to Kim English’s “It Makes A Difference” release on Nervous Records from 2006. Krivit worked with writer Kyle Smith on the remixes that originally made this tune an anthem at his 718 Sessions parties as well as one of the highlights of club nights from Tokyo to New York to London that appreciate quality soulful house. The B-side is Danny’s re-edit of one of the most famed dubs from the Nervous catalogue
as well as for the producers Mood II Swing. Upon its release in 1993 this dub emerged as one of the defining sounds of summer 1993 at Ministry Of Sound which had just recently opened the year before. The “rushing rushing rushing” hook is well knownby golden era of house afficianados around the world and he does an amazing job bringing this essential hook.
