There's an interesting story behind the Unfinished Marble Bowl by Puebco. Puebco actually wanted to manufacture new tableware, but in the end it became a bowl for animal feed. Puebco visited a factory in India that made bowls for various scientific experiments. They prided themselves on making bowls that could not break under any circumstances. When Puebco announced that they didn't need a bowl, but an outer mold to make a bowl, the manager of the factory seemed reluctant. Puebco found marble scraps not far from the factory and used them to create the Unfinished Marble Bowl, an eye-catching storage option for keys, coins or small jewelry.
