Designed in Denmark, and meticulously assembled in Europe, the Norse Standard Sweatshirt by Norse Projects takes its inspiration from the classic 1950s sweats made of brushed or loop-back cotton fabric. The garments origin dates back to the 1930s when manufacturers first developed an alternative to woolen sportswear uniforms. It was later adopted by the US Military Academy to be used during training exercises in the 1940s. However, it's the classic 1950s version that has become the standard for classic crew sweats ever since. The Norse Projects Norse Standard Sweatshirt will accompany your daily outfits with comfort and performance.

The heavy Japanese fleece of the Sweat Crew Raised Back by Beams Plus is made with a rare, old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine; the back is brushed and finished for the fall and winter seasons. The Azuma knitting machine was one of the first knitting machines in the 1970s, when the company changed from a hanging knitting machine to a high-speed knitting machine, and is now a very rare and valuable piece of equipment, of which only a few examples still exist. Furthermore, the knitting speed is extremely slow, and it is a low productivity knitting machine that can only knit about one to two warp yarns per day with such a machine. Due to the slow speed, an exceptionally soft, full fabric is achieved.
