Originally recorded in 2010, the highly sought after Midnight To 666 sold out in record time. Quickly regarded as a garage punk classic, this album features thirteen dark seething tracks, full of ferocious vocals, grinding organ and a primitive rhythm section with the ever present fuzz guitar sound you've come to expect from the Lords of Altamont. From the painfully relatable F.F.T.S., through the stomping energy of "You're Gonna Get There",the crowd chanting anthem - and alternate version of - "Get In The Car" up until the moody closing track "Faded Black", this is a soul bearing, primal two wheeled scream into the void. Originally released on the French Fargo Records label, Midnight to 666, with Harry ' Full Tilt ' Drumdini from The Cramps on drums, now finds a new home on Heavy Psych Sounds Records. Featuring the original artwork the band intended before the blood red version went to print, as well as a bonus outtake of "Faded Black", this re-release is a sure bet.

Northwest Company were one of the most hard-working bands from the Vancouver scene of the Sixties. Famous for their monster garage-punk double sider from 1967, the reverberating "Hard To Cry"/ "Get Away From It All", the group released seven singles between 1966 and ‘73. Eight Hour Day features a selection of those 45 sides, their cool & raw studio demos from 1966 and their final 7-minute long hard-blues live freakout "Police's Coming". Thin Lizzy are a hard rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1969, notorious for their twin guitar sound that would lead the band towards their greatest successes. The band was fronted by Phil Lynott who composed almost all of the band’s songs, and was the first black Irishman to achieve commercial success in the field of rock music. This is the band touring the States after their huge breakthrough record ‘Jailbreak’ and features their own spin on Bob Seger’s ‘Rosalie’ and the worldwide hit ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’.

The story of Thus is not very different to that of many 60s bands that appeared in the US after the British invasion: four high school friends who decide to form a group influenced by the Beatles, Stones, Who, Kinks, Yardbirds, Zombies or the Byrds, ending up releasing a private pressing album.

In the case of Thus, they were four friends from the tiny town on Victor in New York: John Johnston, Don Corbit, Jerry Heukensfeld and Barry Dalgleish. In 1968 they released their only album, “All Of Thus”, on the custom Century label in an edition of just 265 copies. But there are two things that set the Thus album apart from many other similar garage records of the era: half of the songs are original compositions by John Johnston, showing a talented and versatile songwriter capable of moving from moody folk-rock / teen-beat to garage-punk and proto-psych and the other half are cover versions (typical of such garage albums) but done with an unusual strong personality and imagination. These include their superb rendition of Bacharach’s “Walk On By”, a punked-out cover of the Zombies “It’s Alright With Me” and more.

The “All Of Thus” album went unnoticed until 1993, when it was unearthed and reissued on vinyl by the Rockadelic label. Long out of print, we present a new reissue with newly remastered sound, original artwork and insert with liner notes by Mike Stax, telling the story of the band for the first time.

After the infamous split album with the almighty Bongzilla, Tons are back with their third full-length studio album. Hashension is composed by 6 heavy reefer songs which express the band’s devotion to the Green God. The recipe is the same, but always evolving: an infusion of slow and swampy doom/sludge metal with hints of psychedelia, and the band members’ hardcore-punk background gives the record a groovy and personal feel throughout.
