Øresund Space Collective (øsc), formed in 2004, is a totally improvising Scandinavian space rock band and has been releasing albums since 2006. The band has played concerts & festivals all over Europe. Their music is quite diverse and influenced by the ever-changing line up in the collective. The material on this LP was recorded in October 2010 on the 2nd day of recording and features a lot of different musicians from days 1 and 3. A lot of the material has a funky nature, but it is a very diverse album with a nice chillout sitar number and a lot of space rock!! Some of the tracks have been edited for the vinyl edition. Recorded at the Black Tornado Studios in København, Denmark in Oct. 2010 by Lars Lundholm Mixed & mastered by Dr Space at Estúdio Paraíso Nas Nuvens, Portugal in 2020 with sonic advice from Hasse Horrigmoe Artwork / layout by David Graham

Dee Dee Ramone I.C.L.C. (Inter-Celestial Light Commune) was formed by Dee Dee and John Carco in 1994 in New York City. After several live shows and drummers as a the three piece line up the two members decided to move to Amsterdam to record for Rough Trade Records. The four-song EP Chinese Bitch and the album I Hate Freaks Like You were both released in 1994. The band toured 22 countries in a 10-month period and they never toured in the U.S. This set in Scotland catch the big energy, some of The Ramones tracks are slower or even longer than the original versions and Dee Dee plays a wonderful version of Poison Heart all alone.

Born out from the ashes of legendary Florida garage band The Tropics (of “As Time’s Gone” fame), Bacchus was a powerful psychedelic/hard-rock/boogie power trio influenced by Cream, Hendrix, Allman Brothers et al. They only released four rare 45s, collected here for the first time. When Eric Turner (guitarist, vocalist and songwriter), grew into a more progressive form of rock music after a split from The Tropics, he teamed up with fellow Tropics bass player Charlie Souza and drummer Bill Peterson: Bacchus (named after the Roman God of wine) was born. In 1970 they opened for Cactus and Free and after the good response, they recorded their first 45, the fab hard-rock sounding “Carry My Load”. From there they went on tour with Grand Funk Railroad around the state. After more 45 releases, Bacchus was also the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd, BB King, The Outlaws, Redbone, Edgar Winter, and Ted Nugent. They also had the privilege to open a Florida concert for Mahavishnu Orchestra and appeared on the free stage at the Atlanta Pop Festival, just before Grand Funk Railroad on the main stage. Famous also in the recent years for appearing on one the famous Brown Acid volumes, a vinyl / digital comp of their complete output was long overdue. Here it is. Play Loud!

Albinö Rhino are a psychedelic doom rock trio from Helsinki, Finland. The band has released 2 albums & various EPs over the years. They recorded this amazing hand numbered 35min continuous piece after jamming it at the practice room mostly improvised for years, in between the heavier pieces that Albinö Rhino is known for and jumped to the studio when the arrangement felt right. One of the parts is written just one day before entering the beautiful Suomenlinnan Studio with the talented sound wizard Ilari Larjosto. The album was recorded live in one day with some additional overdubs recorded later at Helsinki Music Studio, where the album was also mixed. The opus was mastered at Virtalähde Mastering. Dr Space, Olli Laamanen & Mikko Heikinpoika added their magic when the core was built. The piece moves from acoustic spacey music to heavy desert rock and doom with ease and grace and has an amazing flow to create one hell of a good psychedelic ride-

First-ever vinyl release of the long rumored 1969 studio album (plus related acetate and 45 only tracks) from pre- Hotlegs/10cc duo Godley & Creme, during their days as Frabjoy And Runcible Spoon. Classic UK late 60s psychedelic/folk/pop sound recorded at Advision Studios with support from future 10cc colleagues Graham Gouldman and Eric Stewart. In mid-1969, legendary British R&B/psychedelic entrepreneur Giorgio Gomelsky signed two Manchester-based art students, renaming them Frabjoy And Runcible Spoon. Envisaging the pair as a British Simon And Garfunkel, Gomelsky recorded an LP with them for release on his Marmalade label. A pre-LP single appeared, but sadly the album’s release was aborted. 53 years later, Grapefruit Records released on CD this missing piece of the pre-10cc jigsaw puzzle. It has always been the goal of the group to connect the dots between their influences, to reconcile disparate vintage ideas that perhaps never coexisted in their original place and time! To give life to a NEW artistic vision that synergizes them together like a warm blanket, both familiarly ancient and cosmically NOW! And with all of that sonic information of the past, not to mention a healthy dose of great taste, The Golden Grass concoct their magick brew and are able to conceptualize and materialize music in such a particular way that it screams timelessly from long ago, but could only happen IN This Very Moment! Life IS much stranger after all…. This album was conceived over the past several years, through chaos and confusion, during a global pandemic that forced the band to work in new/unconventional ways they had never before imagined. The music on this album has never seen an audience. These songs have never been performed. And in fact, the recording of the album was the first time the members of the group even understood what their new creations sounded like! The initial writing sessions began in the summer of 2019, but were obviously halted in early 2020 due to the situation. Over the next two years, the band did their best to move forward with the process but rehearsals were infrequent, sickness and health threats always barking at the door, and a constant unknown of what was to come; was there any future for their art at all?...But slowly and disjointedly, they assembled their musical ideas into 7 rough pieces that would soon comprise “Life Is Much Stranger”. From Sept-Oct of 2022, the group worked with a team of engineers across three studios in NYC, recording and mixing the tracks, sculpting their rough song-forms into polished, yet quite surreal, glistening gems! And when they emerged with a finished product, the bizarre and strange events of the previous 3 years all melted into a perfect picture, a complete totality, crystal clear, wholly avant-garde and spellbinding! “Life Is Much Stranger” is an amalgamation of hard rock boogie, jazzy progressive rock, psychedelic exploration and incendiary proto-metal all bursting with soulful harmony-layered vocals, masterful instrumental technicality and an otherworldly creative ambition…and it sounds Fucking Great!

Doomdelic Instrumental Space Prog Rockers L'ira DEL Baccano are back with their official 4th album on Subsound Records " Cosmic Evoked Potentials ". The album release will be preceded by a video for the single " The Strange Dream of My Old Sun" Producer and guitarist Alessandro Santori says about the album: Cosmic Evoked Potentials is a rite of passage, the end of a cicle and already blooming of another. Surely our most instinctive effort so far. We went back to our roots of live recording, this time instead of a stage we chose an old mansion from late '1700 outside Rome. The atmosphere there was so charming and stimulating that 13 minutes of a 45 min long improvisation ended up in the album. We wanted the dynamics and moods of the parts to be the most important thing, taking more time than our usual developing the "story" of the songs.

The English power trio on the verge of their US tour. This October show provides the huge impact the band had on the rock 'n' roll scene in the late sixties. They were the first super group, before anyone had even used the term, featuring former members of the Yardbirds, Manfred Mann, Alexis Korner's Blues Band and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Hit singles such as "Crossroads" and "Sunshine of Your Love" remain relatively faithful to the studio arrangements, but by the time they dive into the bluesy Willie Dixon standard "Spoonful," the magic is in full effect. The set concludes with an energetic version of Skip James' "I'm So Glad," originally recorded on the band's debut, Fresh Cream.

Wayne Kramer came to prominence as a teenager in 1967 as a co-founder of the Detroit rock group MC5, a group known for their powerful live performances and radical left-wing political stance. The Pink Fairies - on the other hand - are an English rock band initially active in the London underground and psychedelic scene of the early 1970s. They promoted free music, drug taking and anarchy and often performed impromptu gigs and other agitprop stunts, such as playing for free outside the gates at the Bath and Isle of Wight pop festivals in 1970, as well as appearing at Phun City, the first Glastonbury and many other free festivals including Windsor and Trentishoe.
