New reissue of the Stonewall Noise Orchestra legendary album Constants In An Ever Changing Universe with brand new Colored Vinyl by Heavy Psych Sounds. It was quite chaotic putting this album together. It’s recorded in 5 different locations. Rehearsal rooms, a living room, a super professional studio, high and low really. I guess it was quite a challenge for Robert Ekholm to do the mixing. It was also some personal challenges at the time which resulted in John Hermansen doing the vocals. John is an incredible singer and an awesome dude, we’re very thankful he helped us keeping the band rolling. The album was supposed to be released earlier than it was but due to all kinds of stuff out of our control it took some time. In the middle of this chaos was the music, the constant in an ever changing universe. It’s an album we’re proud of and we still play many songs from it live.

Our attempt to achieve the sound of the Sonics first album with extra raw drums recorded live In Long Beach Ca. Shawn Medina (bass player) did all the guitar playing aside from Wic Coleman (close friend and honorary member) the solo for “Velvet” on a big box 100watt JMP Marshall and 1968 Burns Bison. Johnny had left the band after co-writing and performing most of the songs on this album.***Action was written with the plans to have Poison Ivy play the lead. It was discussed, but never became a reality. Todd Youth (formerly of Agnostic Front/Warzone/Murphys Law/Danzig) joined the band shortly after.

Jojo Hiroshige is probably best known as the main driving force behind Japanese noise band Hijokaidan and its numerous transformations. His group Slap Happy Humphrey - formed with fellow Alchemy Records noise maker and Angel’in Heavy Syrup singer Mineko Itakura - was in some ways a departure from Hiroshige’s typical noise undertakings. On their first and only LP, the self-titled record is immersed in opposites and contrasts that work in tandem - of folk and noise, of calm and rupture. P-vine is delighted to present the first ever vinyl reissue of the 1994 album with an iconic Japanese obi strip attached.

As a revival of Doji Morita’s hauntingly bleak folk swept across Japan in the early 90s, so too did Hiroshige wish to step into Morita’s dark fantastical world armed with his guitar. With cover songs selected from Morita’s first four albums, Itakura’s vocals bring out the ethereal charm of Morita's writing across these tracks with third member and Subvert Blaze frontman, Hiroaki Fujiwara, backing her on acoustic guitar and violin. Against this backdrop of the duo’s acid folk harmonies, Hiroshige finds opportune moments to thrust his most volatile concoctions of noise and blissful distortion.

Although there were not that many psychedelic rock bands made up of all females in the world of the 1980s, "Angel'in Heavy Syrup" was the rarity one emerging from the Japanese noise rock scene, they were influenced by krautrock bands such as Amon Düül II, but drew primarily from psychedelic and progressive rock, resulting in their characteristic ethereal neo-psychedelic sound. Following reissuing the debut album last year, P-vine proudly presents their succeed releases on vinyl for the first time! This is still highly acclaimed 2nd album released in 1995 featuring their well-known tunes such as 'naked SKY High' and 'Kitto Aeruyo', which were played frequently as standard songs at their live shows. First global vinyl pressing for Marianne Faithfull’s final album for Island records. 1995’s ‘A Secret Life’ received its only vinyl issue in Greece, and copies are hard to come by. The album was a new direction for Marianne and was written with the Italian composer Angelo Badalamenti, known for his atmospheric scores to David Lynch’s films. The result successfully marries his multi-layered orchestral production style with Marianne’s trademark voice and poetic lyrics to create a wholly original and timeless album.

No Love Lost is our favorite track…originally by Joy Division but with a “Angels Hard as they come” approach. This album was as close as we were ever going to get as an “original Lineup”. Johnny DeVilla came back after a hiatus, and Micheal Davis (mc5) joined the band. Recorded at Woody Jackon’s world famous studio located in Nichols canyon Hollywood California. Laurent Bagnard graced us with bad ass photos of the band. Johnny DeVilla’s wife Jamie posed for the album cover on Eric Or’s of the Cretins Motorcycle Club Norton Commando. Repress of the Josiah fourth album in new coloured vinyls !!! "Those who’ve experienced Josiah’s groove-heavy swagger know that it’s the guitar of Mat Bethancourt in the starring role, but this trio relies almost as much on the backing rhythms on Procession. Blink and you’ll miss the first two tracks, “Procession” and “Broken Doll,” both of which are under two and a half minutes, but for the other three cuts of studio material (“Thirteen Scene,” highlight “Dying Day” and the more garage rock “Dead Forever”), it’s just as much Beacom and Beasley’s show as it is Bethancourt's. That would be the end if not for the five live tracks from Josiah’s Swedish run in 2007. Four out of the five — “Looking at the Mountain,” “Time to Kill,” “Silas Brainchild” and closer “I Can’t Seem to Find It” — come from the band’s final recorded full-length, No Time, and only “Malpaso,” reaches back further, having first appeared on the 2001 10” Out of the First Rays. Not that we needed it by this time, but these live versions are basically just further confirmation of what underground rock lost with Josiah. The crash-heavy shuffle blues of “Time to Kill” alone are worth whatever they’re asking for Procession." - The Obelisk
