Styli protection caps for VNL cartridges and styli

The stylus protection guard helps to limit stylus damage, if the cartridge accidentally slides across a record or if the cartridge is dropped onto the record.

The protection caps come in pairs.

An alignment protractor is used to find the correct distance from stylus tip to tonearm pivot.

When aligning a cartridge for tangency using the alignment protractor, it is essential to remember that you are attempting to align the cantilever (and, hence, the stylus), not the cartridge body. There is no guarantee that the cantilever is perfectly aligned within the cartridge body, so simply aligning the cartridge body will not necessarily produce the desired result.

Furthermore, many cartridge bodies have non-parallel sides, making tangential alignment of the cartridge body with the lines of tangency on the gauge virtually impossible.

An alignment protractor is a plastic template onto which are printed the null point(s) and lines of tangency against which the cartridge should be aligned. The template is placed over the turntable's spindle (made possible via a spindle-sized hole drilled in the template) and placed against the platter.

Cartridge must be adjusted until the cantilever is parallel to the set of parallel lines. And this should be achieved for both the indicated points. When the cartridge's longitudinal axis is parallel with the horisontal lines, tracking error will be at a minimum.

Winyl One-Touch contains an innovative solid polyurethane (PU) polymer, specially designed to provide exceptional cleaning for record player stylus needles to ensure top quality sound.

The polymer is soft and highly elastic, with strong adhesive properties to remove dust and microscopic dirt, reducing surface noise and distortion on the playback. In addition, its cleaning system allows to clean the corner-gap between cantilever and stylus.
The polymer has been developed to ensure that it leaves no residue on the stylus, due to its dry-cleaning system, liquid-free.

One-Touch is safe and easy-to-use. Place the headshell above the polymer, lower the cartridge slowly until the stylus needle is inserted into the polymer, lift it up. The dirt will adhere to the polymer surface, leaving the needle clean.

One-Touch Polymer is washable and reusable. If the surface of the polymer becomes heavy soiled after repeated uses, simply rinse it with tap water and rub gently the surface with a finger to loosen dirt. Drain and let dry. The polymer will recover its cleaning properties to use it again. By keeping One-Touch in good condition, you will be able to use it for years with the same effectiveness as the first day.

Great performance and durability as to basic scratch and back-cueing is what the Pro is known for. It has a good quality spherical stylus, a rock-solid cantilever, and serves general purposes well.

VM95 SERIES - STYLI COMPATIBILITY
Every cartridge diamond stylus becomes worn after a period of play.

Around 500 hours for a conical stylus, 300 hours for an Elliptical stylus, 1000 hours for a Microlinear stylus, and 800 hours for a Shibata stylus.

Our VM95 Series dual moving magnet cartridges can be used almost forever by replacing the interchangeable stylus. It is no longer necessary to purchase a complete cartridge when your diamond is worn out, you can simply buy the matching replacement stylus, but also enjoy the experience of upgrading your cartridge with a different stylus.

This product is a NAGAOKA produced and manufactured replacement stylus for the M44G, a cartridge widely used by DJs around the world. We have received many inquiries about a replacement stylus compatible with the M44G, since we had 'GD63-44G' in our lineup. After the production of 'GD63-44G' was discontinued, we reviewed the specifications and developed a new model.
