This version of the KARDO Bodhi Jacket has been constructed from a fabric that has been printed using a traditional hand block print technique. Wooden blocks are hand carved to form the pattern and hand stamped onto the fabric with dye. A print is often the result of layers of different blocks, requiring time, skill and extreme precision. KARDO works with the best block printers in Rajasthan such as Anokhi, with an emphasis on printing using only natural dyes.

This version of the KARDO Bodhi Jacket has been constructed from antique Kantha blanket - a fabric with a seersucker-style texture that has been finished with with Suzani embroidery. Taking antique Kantha blankets (up-cycled old saris and lunghis hand-embroidered with a fine rice stitch) sourced from all over India, KARDO's partner and textile expert, Santosh Rathi, creates them in Jaisalmer with a traditional Suzani pattern in cotton thread. Due to the production process of the fabric, each piece of this version of the KARDO Bodhi Jacket is unique.
