Led by guitarist/vocalist Gabriele Fiori, also of Black Rainbows, Killer Boogie come across as more geared toward the retro-style '70s rock currently holding sway on the European scene in the wake of Graveyard‘s blues rock supremacy, but their take is rawer than most, and that gives them an edge. An incredible debut album !! Biography Fuzz Fuzz Fuzz!!! Killer Boogie is band well versed in the making of ’70s riff making; a new machine in the retro ’n’ roll scene adept at mixing bluesy frequencies into an extremely fuzzy sound with psychedelic shades.The band is formed by Gabriele Fiori on guitars and vocals, Luigi Costanzo on drums and new bassist Nicola Cosentino who joined the band for the new album in early 2017. Culminating in four years of recording sessions in Russia, Australia and Northern Ireland, ‘A Voyeur Makes No Mark’ is Nite Fields’ second LP. It’s the follow up to 2015’s ‘Depersonalisation’ (released on Felte, mixed by Nigel Lee-Yang from HTRK, cover art by Juan Mendez). If ‘Depersonalisation’ was an album of loss and self-destruction, ‘A Voyeur Makes No Mark’ embodies a self-possessed, buoyant, confrontational figure – though no less anguished with self and the world at large. More outward looking than the Nite Fields debut, and with a redefined aesthetic, themes of rebirth and redefinition carry throughout the album immortalised in principal songwriter and protagonist Danny Venzin’s delicate web of sound. Found within the 8-track LP are sounds rarely heard and even lesser played by the Western hemisphere. Utilising a sonic palette inspired by Venzin’s new surrounds whilst living in Moscow, a purposeful decision was made to incorporate local recording equipment and instrumentation. The results are stark yet richly atmospheric. Lead single ‘Not Your Time’ sets the scene of a living and breathing pulse within a distant, unknown city. Nightstalking, double-tracked drum rhythms and swirling, modulated drones re-treaded from Soviet synthesizers form the backdrop for Venzin’s deadpan yet sharply elegant vocal delivery. ‘Invitation’, low-slung and brooding with misanthropy recalls the growing maturity in Venzin’s songwriting, executed to perfection on a stage set elsewhere by motorik drums on ‘Take My Side’, film-noir ambience on ‘Descent’, swooning, dubby shoegaze on ‘Fiction Eyes’ and nods towards the shadowy corners of the dance-floor on ‘Chase It’. ‘A Voyeur Makes No Mark’ also exhibits Venzin’s collaborative impulse. All original members of Nite Fields’ band, as well as touring members feature on the recordings. Album credit notes include performances from members of Multiple Man (Australia), Nerve (Australia), Autumns (Northern Ireland) and Love Cult (Russia). Some album tracks were also co-written by founding member Chris Campion whose guitar sound defined many of Nite Fields’ early recordings. Mastered at the historic Mosfilm studios in Moscow by Antaoly Ryassov and mixed by Marly Luske at Alchemix in Brisbane, the album will be available as a limited release via Lost Race (200 vinyl copies) and Perfect Aesthetics (50 cassette copies) in April 2020.

With its exactly half the size of the square 12-inch 110 box, the 12-inch 50 record box gives the system an individuality and variety with which an optimal solution can be found for every collection and every room.

The small record box is also available in three colors and can be freely combined with the other storage boxes, register boxes and add-ons to create record shelves, storage furniture and everything a collector's heart desires.

Like all modules, the 12-inch storage boxes are made of high-quality MDF and coated with a resistant surface made of melamine resin. The boxes are connected using glue dots that are attached to the contact surfaces of the boxes according to the instructions. The glue dots specially developed for this modular system can be removed at any time. New arrangements can be implemented immediately with the help of new adhesive dots.

THE Lungs have a mantra: “make it visceral,” and with their dynamic live performances and series of independently released EPs, this Los Angeles-based punk power trio has been doing just that since 2016. Driven by the daily hand-to-mouth grind that they and their fellow Angelenos endure, and fueled by the macro volatilities that sparked the anger of so many Americans, The Lungs express their discontent with a surge of infectious post-hardcore dynamism. The band formed after San Fernando Valley based musicians Trevor Howard and Billy Goldstein exchanged some home demos and realized that they were writing music for the same band… all they needed was a drummer. After hearing these demos, it took little convincing for powerhouse drummer Dylan Howard, Trevor’s brother, to agree to join the pair in their mission. The trio quickly set to work on their debut self-titled EP, which they released in 2017. They followed this with 2018’s Bodysnatchers EP, a split 7” with Total Massacre entitled Church + State in 2019, and a slew of kinetic live shows. While THE Lungs’s music is grounded in punk rock, the band borrows the frenetic spirit of hardcore, the immortal energy of rock and roll, and the discordance and rhythmic complexity of post-hardcore, channeling these into an undeniably commanding cacophony that is sure to become the next pandemic. Add to that, they've got something to say, addressing issues ranging from substance abuse to mental health collapse and collective economic pressures. The band has now teamed up with LA record label, Dune Altar, who are thrilled to announce the release of THE Lungs’s debut LP, Psychic Tombs.

So the question arises why we – as band SIRKUS – recorded four Christian gospel songs. Even though all six of us were raised in a more Christian way, we don't consider ourselves religious. On the other hand, we've often worked with deeply religious or spiritual music like gospel or blues over the years.
We are fascinated by their transcendental aspects and by how they portray moment of personal empowerment in times of struggle. Whether in the here and now, materially or metaphysically.
These issues have always been present for us when playing songs such as they are released here on the 12'' Maxi Single. Musically, the tension between our roots in blues and gospel and our previous development towards Krautrock, Afro-Psychedelica and Electronica is reflected in this record.

In advance to his forthcoming EP he is back in typical fashion, delivering CAT CUT CLAPS, a mean Dub-Acid-monster that wraps you up with inimitable sci-fi narratives coming straight up from his machinery. Finally, we got the first track from Dispo 5000, the new project from our beloved Jacob Stoy, together with his longtime buddy and creative partner Felix Meyer. Their KLINGENBERG is a great jam that mixes up the tender side of House with a Kraut and Cosmic approach.

Where the previous 184 & Big Toast album was a bluntly worded denunciation of the zeitgeist over a classic Hip Hop soundtrack, Who Shit in The Sandpit takes a sonic direction more akin to 184’s Trip-Hoppy electronic-folk collective, Button Eyes. With more

melodious production and a greater range in the vocal tones and styles of delivery, it sees the duo step outside of their comfort zones and attempt something less restricted by the confines of their genre. The title is an abstract and Toast-esque expression referring to how the world the next generation stand to inherit (the Sandpit) is being destroyed by the greed and stupidity of older generations (the shit). It is at least a partial departure from the nihilistic and misanthropic themes on previous projects, perhaps a consequence of Toast’s desire to leave a better world for his firstborn, who arrived during the making of the project. While no album which closes on a track about a nuclear holocaust can be described as light, Who Shit in the Sandpit? has moments of real humour, providing comic relief from the more pointed social and political statements elsewhere. Fellow Tuff Boy, The Strange Neighbour, joins Toast on “Anyone Order a Tough Guy?”, a verbal skewering of wannabe hardmen, and the offensively absurd “F.W.L.”. Sometime Sleaford Mods vocalist John Paul contributes his own unique brand of observational poetry to “Backpack” and Croydon’s Breezy Lee elevates every track she features on with her sumptuously soulful vocals. Halo Jones adds the finishing touches with his distorted guitar riffs,

providing further musicality to an already boundary- pushing Hip Hop album.

This limited edition 2xLP vinyl offers a unique listening experience exclusive to the vinyl format: the conclusion of the Marshall Art suite which closes the record will vary depending on which of the two identically labeled Side Cs the listener drops their needle. The good ending, with a triumphant choral celebration, or the bad ending, with a menacing funeral dirge. The music has been remastered specifically for this vinyl release. The red and yellow vinyl is packaged in a reversible jacket with new artwork by Andrei Karlin, depicting a refreshed take on the albums imagery, and an alternate cover showing the decayed scenery, affected by the passage of time.

Proper, truckin’ psych techno bangers from Joachim Nordwall (The iDEAList) and Henrik Rylander’s cosmic incarnation, sent via Moscow’s Stellage portal

After seeing us off with last year’s ‘Your Skulls Are To Us What The Sun Is To You’ for Industrial Coast, the duo’s instinct for ace titles is in effect again on ‘The New Age Is Shit’, which pretty much sums up the record’s antithetical stance and the band’s scything iconoclastic approach to rhythm and noise-induced madness within.

‘Determination’ sets out with 11mins of meat motoring bass pound and thick layers of distortion that build up to a full 18-wheeler traction and keep it there. ‘Seen It All Been It All’ trudges thru thickest of razor wire noise and worksite klangs, and they really hit between the like eyes like a Nate Young Regression doozy with ’Stuck In A Dead End Man’, before yoking some kind of Pan Sonic-esque dub noise sludge in their lurching, drunken title cut. Some of their best gear, is it not?!
