Akiyuki Nosaka was a Japanese novelist, singer, lyricist, and politician mainly active in 1970s~80s. He is also famous as the author of the semi-autobiographical story "Grave of the Fireflies", based on his experience under WW2 and which is well known with Studio Ghibli animation.

Not only is it a rarity, being almost unknown even among connoisseurs, but this work boasts high musicality, fusing a black soul feeling strongly influenced by James Brown and others, with a bluesy and melodic West Coast sound and AOR feel.

Its charm has not faded at all even now, many years after its production, and it continues to shine brilliantly.

A miraculous masterpiece that is the trajectory of youth by the sharp young people of northern Kyushu who once dedicated themselves to music!

It has been reborn as a compilation album with condensed content, complete with high-quality remastering by 8ronix (Bullpen lab.) and a delusional band designed by osagodard (browse depart/luminous body)!

Our miracle was triggered by a single word from the late Otaki. "Why don't you make an original and put it on an LP?" Everyone wondered if it was really possible to do something like that. But gradually, their eyes began to change. From there, they spent six months creating their own music. They wrote songs, arranged them together, practiced, stayed up all night recording, and even made a vinyl chloride record. I'll never forget the help from friends other than the band members. Since surfacing into the Scandinavian synth-pop scene 16 years ago, Nicklas Stenemo and Christian Hutchinson Berg aka Kite have steadily grown from local icons to a global phenomenon, yet until now they’ve never released a full-length studio album. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a 2024 supernatural horror-comedy film directed by Gil Kenan. It is the fourth installment of the Ghostbusters franchise and stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and McKenna Grace alongside original Ghostbusters cast of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and William Aherton.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire joins veteran Ghostbusters and their new recruits to save the world from a death-chilling god in New York City who seek to build a spectral army. In addition to the newly introduced powerful ghost Garraka, classic ghosts make an appearance such as the beloved Slimer and mini Stay Puft Marshmallow Men!

The score by composer Dario Marianelli comes available pressed as a deluxe double LP to 180 Gram “Haunted Ecto-1” splatter colored vinyl, heavyweight gatefold jackets with matte satin coating, new artwork by J.J. Harrison, and a four page booklet featuring liner notes by director Gil Kenan.

Mariya Takeuchi is set to release her long-awaited original album after 10 years! This marks the 12th original album by singer-songwriter Mariya Takeuchi, following her 2014 release 'trad'. The album includes theme songs from movies, terrestrial TV dramas, Netflix anime, TV wide shows, and news programs, as well as TV commercial songs. It also features collaborations with Anri, harmonies with Tatsuro Yamashita on Western music covers, and self-covers of songs she provided to other artists, many of which are being released for the first time. This album, a culmination of the past decade, boasts a rich variety of styles and arrangements across its 18 tracks. The deluxe edition includes a CD plus a video collection titled "Precious Live Collection". This features 16 selected performances from her highly acclaimed first live stream, "live Turntable" in 2021, and the subsequent "live Turntable Plus", which included additional unreleased footage. Also included is the performance of "Genki wo Dashite" from the 2012 outdoor event "sweet Love Shower" held at Lake Yamanaka. This rare footage, featuring Mariya as a guest performer backed by the Tatsuro Yamashita Band, is being released for the first time ever, having not been aired by Space Shower TV, the event's organizer, at the time. This deluxe edition provides fans with a total of 17 video tracks, making it a must-have collection.

Amaiwana's new project draws influence from Shibuya-kei, new wave, and techno-pop genres.

Scheduled for release in October 2024, the project includes two EPs, 'new Shibuya' and 'new WAVE,' presented as a double A-side. Ginger Root, an American musician, contributed to the mixing and mastering of both EPs. 'new Shibuya' features the track "cover GIRLS," with a guest appearance by Maki Nomiya, the queen of Shibuya-kei. The album continues the spirit of Shibuya-kei into the Reiwa era. It also includes "Shanghai Girl," part of Amaiwana's "Shanghai trilogy," alongside previous releases "Shanghai Planet" (2020) and "Shanghai Rendezvous" (2023). 'new Wave' reimagines tracks from 'new Shibuya' in a techno-pop and new wave style, influenced by artists like Plastics, Hikashu, and Miharu Koshi, as well as 80s techno kayō music. These self-remixes offer a fresh take on the original songs, giving them entirely new identities. Amaiwana also designed the cover art, which features a double-sided concept that represents both the new Shibuya-kei and new wave aesthetics.
