Following on from the previous work, Naoko Gushima's second album, released in 1997, which is almost entirely composed of her own songs and is equally popular in Japan and abroad, will be re-released for a limited time on Clear Green Vinyl!

Here is a hidden gem from the 1990s, a sparkling cyber-ambient-Mandarin pop collection produced by Henry Kawahara, the master of cyber-occult music, with silky vocals from Shanghai-born vocalist Xiao Yun Wu. Originally released on CD in 1994 on Kawahara’s own HMD label, the Xiao Yun project was launched by Kawahara and his trusted colleague Keisuke Oki, who plays keyboards on the album. Kawahara handled the production, along with guitar, keyboards and programming. And of course, the crowning glory is the voice of Xiao Yun: lovely, floating, ethereal. The singer arranged the songs, which range from versions of previously released Kawahara solo pieces to Mandarin pop classics. All songs are given Kawahara’s cyber-occult sheen, which may evoke visions of the cosmopolitan Asia of near-future science fiction. Available on vinyl and digital download, this album will transport you, via 1994, to a sparkling future. Extreme Honey (The Very Best Of Warner Records Years) (1997) is a compilation album by Elvis Costello, spanning the years 1989–1997. This double album is a good way to become acquainted with Costello’s Nineties’ output. There are a number of hits and singles (“Veronica,” “So Like Candy,” “Sulky Girl,” “13 Steps Lead Down,” “The Other Side of Summer”), and additional album tracks from the same period. There are a number of great moments here, whether it’s the lilting “The Birds Will Still Be Singing” from the underrated The Juliet Letters or the New Orleans-inflected “Deep Dark Truthful Mirror”. Originally released in 1990, ‘Groovy Train’ was the second single by The Farm. It was the first single to be released from their debut album ‘Spartacus’, which celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2021 and was produced by Madness frontman Suggs and Terry Farley. With its distinctive guitar intro ‘Groovy Train’ was the band’s second biggest single, charting at Number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. The single is being reissued for the first time on transparent orange vinyl, exclusively for Record Store Day, and includes three remixes by Terry Farley and Mark Saunders.

Originally released in 1984, it was conceived as a potential song for Michael Jackson but was eventually recorded and released by Dolby himself. ‘Hyperactive’ is Thomas Dolby’s highest charting UK single, achieving a position of Number 17. This reissue of a 1984 12” features an extended version of the track, plus remastered 7” version and remastered original b-side ‘White City’.

The Other Two, formed of Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris of New Order, released their first commercially released single Tasty Fish in 1991, which would then go on to appear on their first album The Other Two & You in 1993.

Limited Edition Status TBC This live album recorded on Bob Weir’s birthday, was from the final night of a 5-Night Run at the Meadowlands on October 16,1989 and, originally released as a 2CD set in 2001.

First vinyl release of 1996 album from Farm Dogs, a country rock band led by Bernie Taupin (Elton John lyricist). "Last Stand in Open Country" is a lost gem (originally released on the Warner label Discovery in 1996), the kind of music you want to hear as the sun sets, stoke a fire and keep good company with friends and dogs (very much in the vein of Tumbleweed Connection-era Elton John). The band comprises Bernie Taupin on vocals; Jim Cregan on guitars and vocals (Family, Rod Stewart to name just two of his affiliations), Robin Le Mesurier on guitars and dobro (also Rod Stewart), Dennis Tufano on harp and vocals (The Buckinghams) and Tony Brock on drums.

Electrafixion were formed by Echo & The Bunnymen members Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant in 1994, alongside Leon de Sylva and Tony McGuigan and went onto release one album Burned, which has never been on vinyl.

Originally released in 2004, "Colour The Small One" is the third album by Grammy-nominated Australian Singer/Songwriter Sia. To celebrate the album’s 20th Anniversary, UMR are releasing a 22-track, limited edition 2LP Colored Vinyl for Record Store Day 2024. Alongside the five singles, this expanded edition also includes track ‘The Bully’, co-written by Sia and American Singer/Songwriter Beck, plus rare b-sides and remixes such as ‘Sea Shells’ and the fan-favourite ‘Breathe Me – Mylo Remix’.
