Zero 7 were formed in 1997 by producers Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker. In 2001 their debut album Simple Things was released selling over a million copies to date and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. They released their second album When It Falls in 2004. When it was originally released, When It Falls was a UK Top 10 album, peaking at no.4 in the UK album charts and spent 24 weeks in total in the charts. It has sold over a quarter of a million copies. Stateside the album entered the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart at #3 and stayed in the Top 20 of that chart for almost thirteen months.

Singles taken from the original album include Home featuring Tina Dico, and Warm Sounds featuring Mozez. Sia and Sophie Barker also feature on the album, with tracks such as Somersault (a UK Top 100 single), In Time and Speed Dial No. 2.

Their impact on music, culture, and the arts has been immeasurable and still felt today.

Having reformed in 2004, Throbbing Gristle’s The Third Mind Movements initially emerged as an exclusive release only available on the band’s last ever American tour in 2009, before they split again in 2010. The album travels through manipulated, time-stretched, and distorted samples, with rhythmical breakbeats and hypnotic oscillations of electronics.

Toko Furuuchi’s two popular albums, “Futsuu no Koto” and “cashmere Music”, which were released during her Pony Canyon era from 2003 to 2007, will be released as analog records for the first time on August 3, 2024.

The album “Futsuu no Koto” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2024. It contains ten songs, including self-produced band-arranged songs by Furuuchi herself, that depict the encounters and partings of a man and a woman, as well as happy love story. Those songs emerge vivid scenes, as if you were watching a movie. The timeless songs, which has not diminished even after two decades, continues to be performed at her concert.

“cashmere Music” was released as her 14th original album in 2005. The album features four arrangers: Toshiyuki Mori, Shin Kono, Yuta Saito, and Ryuji Yamamoto. It includes a variety of song arrangements, ranging from standard urban AOR numbers and catchy 80's sounds to funky songs, electro, and hip-hop sound approaches. Furuuchi’s unique world of sad poetry adds a new direction for the next album and beyond.

Side D includes a bonus track titled “Somewhere in Tokyo”, which is the first collaboration with Takaki Horigome of Kirinji. Additionally, the album features a new cover of “9ji karano Lily” by Japanese group called “Cappuccino”, written by Yu Aku and Shunichi Tokura in 1981.

Things To Make And Do is the third album by the electronic/dance duo Moloko, originally released in 2000. It was a sonic departure for Moloko, with tracks less reliant on electronics and more on live musicians. In addition to the change in musical styles, the album featured new vocal technique, from the lead singer Róisín Murphy.

After the release of Things To MakeAnd Do, offers came in for Murphy to guest on others’ records, most notably The Psychedelic Waltons, Boris D. and Handsome Boy Modelling School. The album held the record as Echo’s fastest-selling UK Platinum record, until beaten by Feeder’s The Singles compilation six years later. It includes fan favourites “The Time Is Now”, “Pure Pleasure Seeker” and “Sing It Back (Boris Musical Mix)”. The track “Indigo” was featured on the soundtrack for Mystery Men.

Things To Make And Do is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on purple & red marbled coloured vinyl. It also includes a 4-page booklet.

“Rated R” is the fourth studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was released on November 2009 by Def Jam Recordings. Recording sessions for the album began in April 2009 and took place at several recording studios throughout United States and Europe. Rihanna together with Antonio "L.A." Reid and The Carter Administration was the executive producer of the album and worked with many record producers, including Chase & Status, StarGate, The-Dream, Ne-Yo, and Brian Kennedy. The record featured several vocalists and instrumentalists, including Young Jeezy, will.i.am, Justin Timberlake and Slash who played the guitars in "Rockstar 101".

Musically, the album represents a departure from her 2007 effort “Good Girl Gone Bad”, which contained up-tempo and ballad-oriented songs. Conceived after Rihanna's assault by her then-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, “Rated R” features a foreboding and atmospheric tone in terms of musical and lyrical direction. It incorporated elements of hip hop, rock, and dubstep. It also explores other genres, such as dancehall in "Rude Boy" and Latin in "Te Amo". In the United States, the album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart and sold 181,000 copies in its first week. It also attained top ten positions in over twelve other countries.

“A Girl like Me” is the second studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was released on April 2006 by Def Jam Recordings. For the production of the album, Rihanna worked with Evan Rogers, Carl Sturken, Stargate, and J. R. Rotem with label-mate Ne-Yo who wrote the album's second single. “A Girl like Me” is a pop, reggae and R&B album influenced by Rihanna's Caribbean roots. It also incorporates dancehall and rock elements and ballads, which music critics were ambivalent towards.

It peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200 album chart and on the UK Albums Chart. The album was successful in other countries, entering the top ten in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Japan while topping the charts in Canada on the Canadian Albums Chart.

“Music of the Sun” is the debut studio album by Barbadian singer Rihanna. It was released on August 2005 by Def Jam Recordings. Prior to signing with Def Jam, Rihanna was discovered by record producer Evan Rogers in Barbados, who helped Rihanna record demo tapes to send out to several record labels. Jay-Z, the former chief executive officer (CEO) and president of Def Jam, was given Rihanna's demo by Jay Brown, his A&R at Def Jam, and invited her to audition for the label after hearing what turned out to be her first single, "Pon de Replay". She auditioned for Jay-Z and L.A. Reid, the former CEO and president of record label group The Island Def Jam Music Group, and was signed on the spot to prevent her from signing with another record label.

After Rihanna was signed by Jay-Z, she continued to work with Rogers and his production partner Carl Sturken, as well as other music producers such as, Poke & Tone, D. "Supa Dups" Chin-quee, and StarGate. “Music of the Sun” features vocals from Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall, music group J-Status, and Jamaican singer Vybz Kartel. Its music incorporates Caribbean music such as dancehall and reggae, as well as dance-pop and R&B ballads.

The album debuted at number 10 on the United States Billboard 200. “Music of the Sun” was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting shipments of over 500,000 copies.

Almut Klotz, may she rest in peace, became known as a musician through her work with the Popchor Berlin, the bands Parole Trixi and Lassie Singers, and as an author ("Aus dem Leben des Manuel Zorn", "Tamara und Konsorten" and most recently "Fotzenfenderschweine"). Together with Christiane Rösinger she ran the label Flittchen Records. The first two books were written with her partner, the universal talent Christian Dabeler (musician, songwriter on many records, not even all listed on Discogs, actor: Rollo Aller, Deichbullen, author, etc.). In "Fotzenfenderschweine", which Almut Klotz wrote about their love, you can get even closer to the couple. The original info text from 2007 says: "Klotz + Dabeler don't like to commit themselves and also leave the freedom to the listener. All the beautiful lyrics are embedded in the most wondrous glamour pop, which is not too shy to wander into the piepige and show everyone the bird. You can get pathetic: "Menschen an sich" is one of those rare albums that make you feel strangely understood and embraced right from the start - despite or perhaps because of all the unanswered questions. Bonus: The vinyl edition comes with an alternative cover photo!

Classic 2001 collection from Detroit's Adult. 20th anniversary of the original release, 10th anniversary of the first vinyl pressing. Available for the first time in red & black marbled vinyl. "We've wanted to re-release this album for some time," says Adult.'s Adam Lee Miller, "but we weren't ready until now. We have some new material in the pipeline, and we thought this would be a nice way to reintroduce ourselves." It is indeed a nice way for the hugely respected Detroit duo to herald their return to the world of music, especially for anyone who missed out on Resuscitation the first time around _ the album was never available digitally until the 2012 re-release and vinyl pressing on Ghostly International. The reissue thus presented the chance to own one of the more influential records of the early 2000s: either on double 12" LP or, for the first time, as a digital release. Now, in 2022, the vinyl is available for the first time in a new red and black marble colorway. When it first dropped in 2001, Resuscitation served as a de facto introduction to the duo, collecting a bunch of songs on CD that had only previously been available on hard-to-find singles and EPs. Eleven years later, it does the same thing, except this time around, we can see just how influential its creators' work has been _ and Adult.'s music only sounds more remarkable with the benefit of hindsight. At the time, Resuscitation's combination of crisp beats, squelch-laden synths and Nicola Kuperus' detached monotone sounded like a broadcast from the future, steeped in the analog synth sounds of forebears like Kraftwerk but possessed of an ultramodern sheen all its own. The British shoegaze pop band Engineers was formed in London in 2003 by Mark Peters, Simon Phipps, Andrew Sweeney and Dan MacBean. MacBean is also known as the guitarist in The Shining. After being signed to Echo Records, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2005. The album features the acclaimed tracks “Home”, “Forgiveness” and “Waved On”. The latter was produced by Tim Holmes, who worked with The Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream and multiple albums for Death In Vegas. Engineers is available as a limited edition on white coloured vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
