Along with other city pop singers of the same era such as Yumi Tanimura, Seiko Sato, and Keiko Utsumi, Kumi Showji is a singer who is definitely not to be missed when talking about '90s city pop'. Originally released in February 1990, 'Rhythm Of Silence' is Kumi Showji's first album. Produced by Masataka Matsutoya, co-produced by Kazuo Horiguchi (reico).

A playful music project by Koo a.k.a. Takuya Kuroda and Voo a.k.a. Marihito Ayabe (Chimp Beams, Loop Diary) both from Brooklyn, NY.

The two met as members of Main Space (started in 2008), an experimental rock band, and hit it off because of their musicality. Amid each other’s extremely busy schedules, they had a series of music sessions in their spare time to give each other updates on their recent activities. After 11 years, the album finally took shape. Kuroda’s trumpet and keys dance on Ayabe’s breakbeats.

Kuroda, an energetic and nimble jazz trumpet player with a hint of afro beat, and Ayabe, a dub beat maker with a dark and cosmic feel—the light chemical reaction between these opposing elements has opened a new musical page.

All performances are performed by Kuroda and Ayabe, who have deep roots in Brooklyn, and their unique friendship has made it possible for them to perform with guests such as Cory King (vocal, trombone), and DJ SPINNA (remix).

Intro is an American R&B group that emerged in the early 1990s. The group consisted of members Jeff Sanders, Clinton "Buddy" Wike, and lead vocalist/songwriter Kenny "G-Love" Greene. They gained popularity during the golden era of R&B and enjoyed success with their soulful harmonies and smooth ballads.
In 1993, INTRO released their self-titled debut album Intro, which featured the hit singles "Come Inside," "Let Me Be The One," and "Love Thang." The album received critical acclaim and showcased their ability to deliver heartfelt ballads and merging R&B tracks over hip hop beats. The smooth harmonies and passionate vocals of Kenny Greene and the group's overall chemistry made their music stand out.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, we are proud to reissue the band's debut album for the first time as an expanded 2LP edition. Intro (Expanded) is available as a 30th anniversary edition of 750 individually numbered copies on orange (LP1) and green (LP2) coloured vinyl. Its D-side consists of 3 bonus tracks from their album New Life.

Ian Campbell was born in Nottingham (uk) in 1968. In 1980 he left UK to join a breakdance group. During a tour of Italy Ian fell in love with the “bel paese” and decided to stay on and find a job as a singer or DJ. His first love was rap, above all Raggamuffin (due to his Jamaican origins). In 1989 by chance he met the producer Robyx, who decided to record a track with him. In just a few days, the first single "Easy" was ready. Within a few months it became a success first in Europe, then worldwide. The project was called "Ice MC" and the songs were sung, written and played by Robyx, while Ian took care of the rap. The album “Cinema”, and two further singles, “Cinema” and “Scream” followed this first success. The three singles sold a total of two million copies, and the album around five hundred thousand! After more than 30 years, DWA is proud to announce the re-print of this album on vinyl, a special gift to all collectors of ‘80s / ‘90s hits.

After the near-tragic accident for Gloria Estefan during the 'Get on Your Feet Tour' (Gloria suffered a broken vertebrae) she portrayed her emotion on 'Into the Light', hence the album's title. This shift affected not only her image but also her audience as a result, and that shift is even more apparent on Into the Light. The album sold over 10 million copies worldwide. It peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, driven largely by its chart-topping lead single, 'Coming Out of the Dark'. Abriendo Puertas is the second Spanish language album by Gloria Estefan, originally released in 1995. In contrast to the album Mi Tierra, her successful Spanish debut album that was primarily influenced by Cuban music, Abriendo Puertas draws on a wider variety of Latin American musical styles. The album performed very well globally, achieving Platinum certification in the United States, Colombia, Argentina, and Spain. It went on to win the 1996 Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album. Some of the popular songs featured on this album include "Abriendo Puertas", "Farolito", "Tres Deseos" and "Más Allá".
