T.I.R. is the third album by Loredana Bertè, originally released in 1977 by CGD. The album had a huge success and it can be considered as a synthesis of the artistic path undertaken by Bertè up to now. There is a feminist and provocative vein, a painful and introspective interpretation, her style can be defined as "screamed", but there are also conventional songs with which she takes up the issues related to the couple relationship and loneliness. The famous duo Pace and Avogadro signs most of the lyrics, whereas Mario Lavezzi (in addition to compose the music for four songs) has the role of producer and arranger (with Vince Tempera). Among the credits there is also Fausto Leali who signs "Sono donna" and takes part with Lavezzi in an original reinterpretation of the battistiana "Le tre verità". The presence of her sister Mia Martini and Milena Cantù at the choirs should also be emphasized. A unique, unmissable record, with an iconic cover that winks at the legendary Sticky Fingers of the Rolling Stones and where it is already possible to glimpse those reggae sounds that will become predominant in the next album "Bandabertè". “Honky Château”, released in 1972, is the fifth studio album released by Elton John. It was titled after the 18th century French chateau where it was recorded, Château d'Hérouville. The album reached number one in the US, the first of seven consecutive US number one albums for Elton John.

It was certified gold in July 1972 and platinum in October 1995 by the RIAA. This was the final Elton John album on the Uni label in the US and Canada before MCA consolidated all of its various labels under the MCA brand. This and John's earlier Uni albums were later reissued on MCA Records.

Two singles were released worldwide from Honky Chateau, "Rocket Man" and "Honky Cat." A third single, "Hercules," was prepared for release, but this never materialised.

Wewantsounds is delighted to announce an extensive reissue program of Meiko Kaji's first five album released in Japan between 1972 and 1974 on Teichiku Records. The program, in partnership with Teichiku and Meiko Kaji, will see her first five albums reissued on vinyl for the first time ever in their original Japanese artwork and remastered audio. Famous for her early 70s exploitation movies ('Lady Snowblood', the 'Female Prisoner Scorpion' and 'Stray Cat Rock' series) revered by Tarantino, Meiko Kaji was also a singer releasing albums to tie in with her movie career. These albums are a fascinating mix of Japanese Pop and Groove with superb funky cinematic orchestrations as displayed in "Hajiki Uta". The album is reissued with original artwork on deluxe Gatefold sleeve LP, OBI strip and a 2-p insert featuring new liner notes by by Hashim Kotaro Bharoocha who has interviewed Meiko for the occasion. It features "Urami Bushi" the theme song for the Female Prisoner Scorpion series which was used in Kill Bill Vol 2 and also "Onna No Jumon" the theme song for the film "Female Prisoner Scorpion - Jailhouse 41."

“Face The Face” was recorded for the German TV series Rockpalast in Cannes in January 1986. Pete Townshend’s Deep End were touring in support of his solo concept album “White City: A Novel”. Several of the musicians that appeared on the album were featured in the line-up of the Deep End including Pink Fl oyd’s David Gil mour on lead guitar. The set list includes tracks from the “White City” album, other Townshend solo tracks, Who classics, Da vid Gilmour’s song “Blue Light” and a couple of surprises. The double LP makes its debut on vinyl and is pressed on opaque yellow vinyl, packaged in a gatefold jacket.

Now that she thinks she has found true love, she expresses her joy over her relationship to James Taylor with "The Right Thing To Do", another top ten hit. On the other hand she was just as willing to recognize her own mistakes and regretted pointing her finger at other people. It was not just Simon’s frankness that made the album a success, but also Richard Perry’s simple, elegant pop-rock production, which lent Simon’s music a vitality it never known before. Perry was mindful in particular of Simon’s vocals, making them more perceptive and stirring than in her other productions. And of course her fellow musicians, such as Paul and Linda McCartney, Mick Jagger, Klaus Voormann, Lowell George, Bobby Keys, Jim Keltner as well as her ex-husband James Taylor all contributed to the success of the album, which was awarded official platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America.

This Speakers Corner LP was remastered using pure analogue components only, from the master tapes through to the cutting head.

This release has been out of print on vinyl until now. This deluxe package includes a 2005 bonus track and new album art that has never been released on vinyl. Blue smoke vinyl with an an OBI strip, gatefold album jacket, printed inner sleeve, and replicas of the original record labels.
