The name 2M was selected from several ideas. We wanted a modern name that would be easy to pronounce and remember, and therefore an alphanumerical name was chosen. 2M means MM, which is the abbreviation for moving magnet.
The 2M series of cartridges features Ortofon’s trademark split pole pins, an invention that enables moving magnet cartridges to have a flat frequency response, as with a moving coil cartridge. Split pole pins were invented by Ortofon, and were originally presented in the 500 series and Super OM series.

Aufnahme entwickelt, damit Sie in den vollen Hörgenuss der

Sie können aus drei Tonabnehmersystemen mit austauschbaren
Abtastnadeln wählen, die bei Einstiegs- und mittelpreisigen
Plattenspielern mit mittelschwerem bis schwerem Tonarm optimale
Leistung bieten.

BESONDERHEITEN

Magnetic Duplex Technology™
Die Bauart mit zwei Magneten empfindet die Geometrie des
beim Plattenmastering verwendeten Schneidkopfes nach. Dies
ermöglicht ein präziseres Abtasten der Schallplattenrille und
somit eine bessere Stereo-Trennung, die Sie in eine genauere,
volltönende Klangbühne eintauchen lässt.

Meisterliche Feinabstimmung
Während der Herstellung erfolgt die Feinjustierung des
Nadelträgers mithilfe einer speziell entwickelten
Einstellschraube, die Anpassungen im Mikrobereich ermöglicht.
Das Ergebnis ist eine optimale Kanalbalance, ohne dass eine
Anpassung der horizontalen Spurtreue erforderlich ist.

Das Einstiegsmodell E1 verfügt über eine gefasste, runde Nadel
(0,6 mil) auf einem Rundschaft. Dadurch ist der Tonabnehmer
hinsichtlich der Positionierung äußerst unempfindlich und
erfordert nur eine minimale Justierung. Außerdem besteht sein
Nadelträgerschaft aus carbonfaserverstärktem ABS, einer
wirkungsvollen Alternative zu höherpreisigen aluminium- oder
borhaltigen Materialien, die in den meisten Hi-Fi-Anwendungen
des Einstiegssegments ein vergleichbares Ergebnis liefert.

Das Magnetsystem Goldring 1006 wurde für HiFi-Fans entwickelt, die das Beste aus ihrem Plattenspieler zu einem erschwinglichen Preis herausholen möchten. Dieser Tonabnehmer verfügt über eine elliptisch geschliffene Abtastnadel für eine klare Hochtonwiedergabe und einen starken Magneten, um eine hohe Ausgangsspannung zu gewährleisten.

Das kleinste Goldring-Modell G1006 zeigt bereits alle guten Eigenschaften der G1000-Reihe - schöne weiträumige Staffelung, Leben und fließende Musik. Alles etwas zurückhaltender als bei den größeren Modellen, aber trotzdem gut. Falls Sie später doch ein G1012, G1022 oder G1042 möchten, können Sie einfach die Nadel wechseln.
