Carhartt WIP Zip Sweaters

For more than 120 years, the Detroit-based Carhartt brand has manufactured premium workwear known for exceptional durability, comfort, quality of construction, and fit that you can feel in the fabrics and see in the performance. Expanding the line from the traditional outerwear pieces, The European Carhartt Work In Progress department now offers a complete product line for warm and cold weather alike that includes denim and work pants, shirts, sweats, shorts, tees and accessories. In the 2000s, street art-inspired collaborations with famed artists such as London’s Playarea, NYC’s Eric Adorn, Paris-bred KoolFunc’88 and Zeek&Destroy from Düsseldorf, Germany, were also important parts of the Carhartt WIP line. In recent times, Carhartt WIP also joined forces with record labels Erased Tapes or Eglo Records as well as high-profile music artists like Danny Brown and Theo Parrish. A variety of features such as premium fabrics, rugged construction, and contemporary cuts are some of the hallmarks of Carhartt WIP streetwear that fit the customer’s needs in the toughest conditions. Established in 1889, Carhartt is still family-owned and dedicated to the mission of providing Best-In-Class apparel for the active worker. Nowadays, Carhartt uses green materials when possible, FSC certified lumber, recycling 50% of the building material waste, optimizing insulation, reducing water usage, improving the power management system and installing an energy efficient roof. Just as Hamilton Carhartt began four generations ago, the European Carhartt Work In Progress department will continue to manufacture the most rugged and durable clothing for generations to come.
