Tracks, wie das herausragende “Mr Destroyer” (Poo-Bah) rühmen sich durch wabernde Riffs und wirbelnde Vocal-Parts und führen mit beinah visionärer Wirkkraft die perfekte Mischung aus Hard Rock und Psychedelic herbei. Das fiebrig klingende “Motorcycle (Straight To Hell)” (Table Scraps) atmet die pure Punk Wildheit der alten Schule und Zeilen wie "I'm gonna drive it straight to HELL!" erinnern an eine stilistische Kreuzung aus Iggy Pop und Motörhead. Chris Wicked is an experienced artist from Bergen, best known as the vocalist in Malice in Wonderland where he toured the world and released several albums, EP’s and singles. After a tour in China with Finnish band Negative, the artist was brought to Finland where he spent several years touring, doing festival work, as well as several TV appearances. Back in Bergen, the band was eventually disbanded, and Chris has spent the last few years creating a new sound singing in his own language - now as a solo artist. The recent time has been spent in Polyfon Studio and the debut album has now been recorded. Although parts of the Black Metal elite such as Gaahl (Gaahls Wyrd), Hoest (Taake, Gorgoroth), Vgandr (Helheim, Taake) and Niklas Kvarforth (Shining SE) contributes on the album, it is in no way extreme music we are talking about. This is melancholic and catchy, at times low-key, with a dark, beautiful and unique expression, inspired by artists such as The Cure, Nick Cave, David Bowie and Depeche Mode.

One Night in Miami is a 2020 American drama film directed by Regina King (in her feature directorial debut), from a screenplay by Kemp Powers, based on his stage play of the same name.

Two decades into their journey as ritualistic black metal conjurers, Wolves IN THE Throne Room have emerged from the forest with Primordial Arcana, their most majestic album to date, and their first release via Relapse Records.

Primordial Arcana is the band’s first completely self-contained work: In addition to composition and performance, brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver alongside guitarist Kody Keyworth handled all aspects of recording, producing and mixing at their own Owl Lodge Studios in the woods of Washington state.

The album’s title is a reference to the band’s ongoing reach back to the most ancient, archetypal energies.

Leadoff track “Mountain Magick” sets the august tone with alpine guitar melodies cresting skyward in triumph. “Spirit of Lightning” returns briefly to the earthly plane as a tribute to the human connections forged in music. Meanwhile, “Primal Chasm (Gift of Fire)” is an explosion of cosmic grandeur, a symphonic rendering of the hermetic maxim As above, so below as envisioned by Keyworth. In fact, Primordial Arcana is the first Wolves IN THE Throne Room record in which Kody was a part of the writing process from the start, so it benefits from his background in cosmic funeral doom.

2024 will be the 50th Anniversary of Radio Birdman. To celebrate that milestone, Citadel is pleased to announce the recutting / repressing of all their albums. Radios Appear was Radio Birdman's first full length album. Recorded piecemeal over 1976 and early 1977, on weekends and nights when their home base (Trafalgar Studios Sydney) had no paying customers, it was finally released on the Trafalgar label, created specifically to release their records. In addition to mail order, the album was literally distributed by hand and out of the back of cars. The band thus wrote the Australian handbook on DIY independent music. It was hailed as a breakthrough album in Australian music, a turning point after the scene's early and mid seventies stagnation. Radios Appear was given a 5 star review in Rolling Stone, and the album gave the band a needed boost to depart Sydney as a national touring entity, while still maintaining their renegade status
