Here comes a Shigaraki-made fortune raccoon dog figurine, specially manufactured in the well-known indigo color for Beams Japan. The features include the Kachi (victory) character written on the Kayicho, which is held in the hand, while the Indigo color is said to be the world's oldest dye, and has been used in Japan for a long time for various items such as clothing and is also known as the color of victory. The name Tanuki means "surpassing others", it's a symbol of prosperous business. By the way, Shigarakiyaki is a pottery out of Shigaraki in Kouga City in Shiga. It's one of the so-called Six Old Kilns Rokkoyo located in a historic pottery district which maintains from even before from the Kamakura Era.
