The London Methow from the Filson x Birkenstock collection combines the high-quality craftsmanship and innovative design of two renowned brands in a distinctive shoe. This collaboration is part of Birkenstock's exclusive 1774 line, which celebrates creative partnerships with like-minded brands and focuses on quality and traditional manufacturing techniques. All components of the London Methow have been manufactured in the EU, which underlines the high quality of materials and workmanship.

The upper of the Filson x Birkenstock London Methow is made from a combination of unlined suede, known for its soft, comfortable feel, and sturdy, oiled nubuck leather. This choice of materials combines the iconic textures of Birkenstock and gives the shoe a rustic yet sophisticated look. Particularly striking are the raised moccasin stitching, which not only gives the shoe a handcrafted look but also a structured and distinctive look. Thanks to the unlined design, the shoe remains light and comfortable, perfect for everyday use or for longer periods of wear.

The anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed, one of Birkenstock's signature features, offers optimal support and cushioning for the foot. This footbed ensures even weight distribution and adapts to the individual shape of the foot over time, making it particularly comfortable to wear. The cover of the footbed is made of classic dark Birkenstock suede, known for its durability and high level of comfort.

Another highlight of the Filson x Birkenstock London Methow is the new hardware, which was specially designed for this collaboration. The antique brass ring buckle gives the shoe a rustic, timeless look while ensuring easy adjustability and a perfect fit. This small but subtle change reflects the attention to detail that Filson and Birkenstock have incorporated into their collaboration.

The innovative rubber cork outsole provides additional comfort and flexibility. This not only offers excellent cushioning, but also a high degree of flexibility, making the shoe particularly comfortable to wear, whether in everyday life or when traveling. The combination of rubber and cork also ensures durability and excellent traction on a variety of surfaces.

All in all, the London Methow from the Filson x Birkenstock collection combines the best of both brands: the proven comfort and anatomical excellence of Birkenstock with the sturdy and functional aesthetics of Filson. This shoe is perfect for anyone who values quality, durability and stylish design and is looking for a timeless shoe that is suitable for both outdoor adventures and everyday urban life.

Established in Japan in 1947, Edwin founder K.K. Tsunemi had a passion for denim pants, which inspired him to import them directly from the United States as no denim was manufactured in Japan at that time. Used, worn-out and dirty denim which had to be laundered and mended by hand in order to sell on to his customers. In 1961 Mr. Tsunemi crafted the first pair of Edwin denim jeans; utilizing the letters D, E, N, I plus M (reversing the M creating a W), he created the brand name Edwin. By 1963 Edwin had produced the world’s heaviest ring-spun denim jeans (16 oz), featuring the famous three-color rainbow selvedge, which is still being used today. In the 1970s, Edwin were the first company in the world to develop old wash designed to replicate denim which have been worn from its rigid, unwashed state traditionally designed for workwear due to its durability. In the 1980s, Edwin revolutionized the whole denim world by inventing the process of stone washing. The Tuff Tony by Nudie Jeans are loose- fitting denim pants in a beautifully simple, deep blue wash. The wash of these Nudie Jeans design is inspired by the absolute simplest treatment: a single dry denim wash at home. The denim has a vintage-like, deep indigo blue hue with distinctive yarn thickening. The wash has changed the color from a dark bluish-gray to a deep, red-tinged blue. This gives the once neat, flat denim texture an irregular, structured look. The denim was carefully selected for its deep blue hue and embodies the heritage of pure indigo dyed redcast denim. The irregular yarn thickenings are reminiscent of workwear from the early 20th century. A pair of jeans with a contemporary twist that pays homage to vintage style, yet is modern and will become a vintage classic in the future. With regular wear and washing, this version of the Nudie Jeans Tuff Tony will age naturally, developing natural wear marks that will reveal their beauty over time.

• 5-pocket construction
• branded button fly

• 2 self-fabric patch pockets with contrast signature stitching at the rear

The very lightweight Paraboot Thiers is an original design from the 1960s and is now back in the spotlight, thanks to some celebs who have given it a new lease of life. The features of the Paraboot Thiers include the derby lace insert with bead, the 4-eye lacing and the fact that it's Blake-stitched with the rubber sole - which means the upper's sewn directly to the sole with a stitch-through seam, making the shoe softer and more supple. Blake-stitched styles are lightweight and pliable, especially when the soles are rubber. Plus, the Paraboot Thiers looks more elegant than with a Goodyear stitching.

Because certain skills are no longer mastered in France, Paraboot had the Thiers produced in Spain. In doing so, Paraboot contracted a long-time Spanish partner that delivers quality just as reliable as they know from their own manufacturing. As a tradition-conscious country, Spain has been able to preserve proven manufacturing techniques and its generally recognized knowledge of the patina or genuine moccasin seam. Moreover, in Spain you can still find machine parks that offer much more options regarding production than France.

Paraboot insoles, heels and soles are still manufactured and vulcanized with the same composition as in the past. As a result, the rubber achieves the best material and mechanical properties in terms of comfort, adaptability and wear resistance. Paraboot's rubber compounds come from France and are vulcanized on their own presses in the company's workshop in Saint Jean de Moirans.

Paraboot Thiers - features:

• upper: even leather, pressed with the help of a smooth hot plate
• leather lining
• metal eyelets at 4-eye lacing
• abrasion-resistant rubber sole
• made in Spain

With the Universe Pants, Edwin offers another great vintage design that lives up to the brand's legacy. Nowadays, Edwin offers some of the most wanted vintage denim pants and uses exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes, and continual progression in design and fit.

The upper of the Filson x Birkenstock London Methow is made from unlined tumbled leather. This choice of material gives the shoe a rustic yet sophisticated look.

The Skykomish Boots of the Filson x Birkenstock collection is a striking example of how two renowned brands combine their respective strengths in a unique collaboration. For the current season, the traditional brands have joined forces to present a small but exquisite shoe collection that combines both the rustic, functional aesthetics of Filson and the proven craftsmanship of Birkenstock.

The Filson x Birkenstock collaboration is part of Birkenstock's exclusive 1774 line, named after the brand's historical origins. The collection is characterized by creative partnerships that prioritize the highest quality and time-honored manufacturing techniques. Working closely with like-minded brands like Filson, which share a passion for design and precision craftsmanship, the collection creates shoes that build on the signature characteristics of Birkenstock and interpret them through a new artistic lens.

Individual components of each pair in the Filson x Birkenstock collection are manufactured in German workshops using specially procured materials that are made from a high percentage of natural resources. These sustainable materials, combined with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, guarantee not only outstanding comfort but also durability and a long lifespan. Before the shoes go on sale, they undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure that they meet the high standards of both brands.

The design of the Filson x Birkenstock Skykomish Boots remains deeply rooted in the roots of Birkenstock. Each model begins with the characteristic molded Birkenstock footbed, known for its ergonomic support and exceptional comfort. But this base is enhanced by Filson's distinctive aesthetic. The upper is made from Filson's iconic Tin Cloth material, which is not only sturdy but also weatherproof, giving the shoes a rustic, utilitarian look.

The vamp is made from premium oiled nubuck leather, which adds a sophisticated yet durable touch. An additional protective cap made of textured rubber offers zonal protection, perfect for outdoor adventures or everyday wear, where sturdy shoes are essential. The dense stitching is both functional and aesthetic, and recalls the iconic shape of the Birkenstock footbed, further emphasizing the connection between the two brands.

Other functional details such as the zipper make them easy to put on and take off, while the Filson x Birkenstock patch made of oiled nubuck leather, including the Birkenstock foot logo, stylishly emphasizes the collaboration. The deep blue footbed provides comfort and support, offering both cushioning and grip, while the professional-inspired rubber outsole with lugs ensures true durability and traction on any surface. The cork walking board in the midsole rounds off the design with signature Birkenstock comfort.

Overall, the Skykomish Boots out of the the Filson x Birkenstock collection, made in Portugal, embody the best of both worlds: Filson's functionality and durability meet Birkenstock's ergonomic excellence and comfort – a perfect shoe for adventurers and style-conscious wearers alike.

For the current season, New Balance reintroduced the 475 silhouette, a lesser-known gem from the glory '80s. Nowadays, Edwin offers some of the most wanted vintage denim pants and uses exclusive fabrics and fabrication, unique technology, hand wash processes, and continual progression in design and fit. The classic Edwin five pocket construction Loose Fit Denim Pants are equipped with features such as a branded front center button, a button fly, an off-centered Edwin leather label at the rear of the waistband, a back yoke, signature stitching on back pockets, contrast stitching as well as metal rivets or bartack stitching at vital stress points. The B3 jacket by Engineered Garments is a modern take on the classic pilot's blouson, which was originally used as the B3 flight jacket in the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC). This iconic jacket, which originated in the 1930s, was once designed to keep pilots warm in the open cockpits of the time. Engineered Garments has taken this historic design and made some clever adjustments to transform it into a garment that fits perfectly into today's urban lifestyle.

One of the most striking features of the B3 jacket from Engineered Garments is the outer material. Instead of using heavy leather, as was the case with the originals, the modern version is made of a weatherproof cotton-polyester poplin. This material not only makes the jacket lighter, but also makes it functional in a range of weather conditions. The fabric is durable and provides protection against wind and light rain, making the jacket perfect for everyday use in the city or when traveling.

Another defining element of this Engineered Garments design is the large Boa collar, which maintains the classic look of the original B3 jackets. This collar not only creates a striking look, but also contributes significantly to heat retention. Combined with the chin strap, which also serves to retain heat, it ensures that the cold stays outside, even when temperatures drop.

Interestingly, Engineered Garments has not designed the jacket symmetrically: there is a pocket on the right side of the body only, which gives the design an unconventional but functional touch. There are also hand warmer pockets on both sides, which provide additional comfort and keep cold hands warm.

The jacket's sleeves are also particularly noteworthy, with large elbow patches made of the same fabric. These details not only make the jacket more durable, but also give it a sturdy and hard-wearing look. The Engineered Garments B3 jacket is designed to withstand everyday wear and tear and to provide long-lasting enjoyment.

The lining of this Engineered Garments jacket is also designed for maximum functionality: it is made entirely of Boa fleece, a soft, warming material that ensures you stay warm even at low temperatures. This well-thought-out combination of materials and design details makes the B3 jacket from Engineered Garments a perfect choice for those who value style and functionality in equal measure.

Upper: poplin made of 80% cotton, 20% polyester; lining: Boa fleece made of 100% polyester. Made in the USA.
