Their self-titled debut album was released in 2016, and Nordjevel entered the field like a freezing storm, and quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Nordjevel`s brutal and true take on black metal impressed. The band’s atmospheric and committed sound paired with high technical finesse, unique interplay and raw, unfiltered imagery, has the power to give any black metal fan the chills. In 2019, Nordjevel released the follow-up album Necrogenecis, and in 2021 they released the EP Fenriir. Both releases show the hugeness Nordjevel is capable of, receiving raving reviews and top scores from press and fans all over the world. All of Nordjevel’s releases has made it to numerous “best of the year lists”, and they have quickly proved their position on the international black metal scene.

Major Parkinson announces their long-awaited return with the new album Valesa – Chapter I: Velvet Prison, released on CD and viny October 2022. Formed in Glasgow Scotland in 2002 as a project and quickly signed to Retribute Records in 2003, releasing their first album in 2004 entitled …start killing. Recorded in a low budget studio in Clydebank, Scotland with producer JF Dagenais making the long trip from Quebec to record/produce. Some extensive UK touring followed and the band the went on to become the first UK band ever to sign to US label Relapse Records in 2006, a 2 album deal was done and the first offering the Human Condition 2007) propelled the band onto the European stage with tours alongside Kataklysm, Aborted, Macabre, and Misery index. The Human Condition also saw the band travel to Canada for a month long stay to record once again with JF Dagenais Kataklysm) for an unforgettable adventure. It was in 2009 when Man Must Die released what was their breakthrough album No Tolerance for Imperfection, recorded by Scott ”the terminator” Atkins in England,UK. Featuring the tracks “Kill it skin it wear it” and “It Comes in Threes” which will always be mainstays in the MMD set lists. On the back of this release MMD toured with the likes of Machine Head, Hatebreed, Exodus, Decapitated and Kataklysm. Some years of set backs with Band members and life in general slowed progression after this release, some line upchanges and the band was back in the studio in 2012 to record their 4th album Peace was never an option. At this point only the founding members Joe and Alan the MMD writers) remained. The album was recorded By Micheal “Raphone” Allan now the second guitarist in Mmd) in a beaten up studio in the back of beyond in the east of Scotland. The Album was released in the UK with Grindscene records and in the Europe/world wide by Lifeforce records in Germany.

Whiz Limited is a Japanese streetwear brand estab-lished in 2000 by Hiroaki Shitano. Consisting originally of handmade, printed tees, the label has since expanded to include a complete range of streetwear infused with an eccentric Japanese flair. At Now-Again, we avoid hyperbole, yet we believe that this album is one of record collecting’s ultimate finds: the missing entry in jazz pianist/composer/psychiatrist Denny Zeitlin’s discography, a wonderful and weird fusion of avant-classical, jazz, funk, rock and electronic music. The Name Of This Terrain was recorded and pressed in a scant, custom run as a demo in 1969 –and it so defied its own existence that, even after its producer died and his copies were discovered, Zeitlin steadfastly resisted its release for almost 20 years, destroying his remaining demos so not to posthumously suffer the same ignominy. Following his reappraisal, this album is issued with its creator’s blessing and guidance. You will surely never hear an album like this again, by the musician the venerable jazz critic Leonard Feather called, “the most versatile young pianist to come to prominence in the early sixties,” and who took a left turn at the end of the decade, documenting a pivotal 20th century moment with passion, intellect, and humor in turn. The Name Of This Terrain found its way out of the depths – wonderful and having aged well, like well-corked, deep wine stored in a cold cellar. Ready for another moment to shine and be understood, redolent of the tastes and textures of a different time, one we pine for and that we won’t often see again, but can happily, momentarily, indulge. Zambian guitarist and singer/songwriter Mike Nyoni’s music is Zamrock only because he came of age during the country’s rock revolution. His preferred wah-wah to fuzz guitar, James Brown to Jimi Hendrix. His 70s recordings – often politically charged, and ranging from despondent to exuberant – are amongst the funkiest on the African continent. He was also one of the only Zamrock musicians to see his music contemporaneously issued in Europe. This anthology collates works from his three 70s LPs – his first, with the Born Free band, and his two solo albums Kawalala and I Can’t Understand You – and presents a singular Zambian musician on par with celebrated artists Rikki Ililonga, Keith Mlevhu and Paul Ngozi. »Queen Of Nowhere« is the result of the photographic works by Kourtney Roy and the musician Dayve Samek (Trance Farmers). Samek has recorded his first album in 2014 on Leaving Records (Stones Throw Records). His music ranges between sweaty, garage-born ballads brush shoulders with drifter anthems and gasoline drenched doo wop with at some points some beats close from the past Anticon works. The Canadian photographer Kourtney Roy was born in Northern Ontario in 1981. She conjures an intimate universe pervaded by both wonder and mystery. Her photographer’s eye is drawn to places and settings whose lyrical qualities underscore the sublime banality of everyday life.
