Off the court, he was equally renowned for his confidence and charisma. In the 1980s it was time for his outfitter Puma to create a Guillermo Vilas signature shoe: The GV Special, which pays tribute to its namesake with a court-meets-street aesthetic that's iconic to this day. The silhouette of the Puma GV Special is equipped with perforated detailing for breathability, plus a chunky sole. Today, the Puma GV Special has been upgraded with timeless retro colorways, premium leather upper as well as maximized comfort.
