It all started in 1976 when a small store named Beams was launched in Harajuku, Tokyo. It didn’t take too long until Beams became one of the largest textile retailers on Asia with over 50 stores. In 1999, Beams Plus was launched – a clothing line inspired by classic American military and workwear designs.

But Beams Plus wasn’t just recreating styles from the past, the company added their own twist to create unique looks made from special fabrics.
