In the early 70s Insight was founded in Australia as a surf brand originating from Sydney’s northern beaches. After exclusively producing hardware like surfboards in the early stages, they soon noticed the lack of innovative apparel for their cool-ass surf buddies, so they stepped into the breach and created cutting edge designs. While classic surf details are still present, a strong influence of the cultural and musical background of Insight designers Natalie Wood and George Gorrow is omnipresent, they just design clothes they REALLY want to wear! Although Insight styles are labeled street fashion, they give a fuck about fashionistas; they just do their own thing – whether you like it or not. And they still like to hang around with their team of professional surfers to have some brew and chill. While others still use the phrase Keet It Real, they just do it…
