Vestamaran A Touch Of Class

Vestamaran's second album is here! This is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Bungalow Rex from 2021. The album was recorded in its entirety in the eastern part of the country, as part of a bizarre experiment there the band members would try to travel far away from the salt water and the maritime aesthetic which has previously surrounded the group. Most of the record was recorded in Ole Petter Andreassen's (Black Debbath, Tulsa Doom etc) studio Caliban, which is located in a pig-filled area in Nord-Odal. A few songs have also been recorded at Propeller Recordings in Oslo city. As always, Vestamaran operates with a blissful mix of styles and this time the width is possibly greater than ever. From classic rock in the opening song Storyteller to country elements in the pedal steel-driven Wallets. Or from laidback indie pop in Bow Down to more prog tendencies in How to Build a Bar. All band members are involved in the songwriting, and there is a collective and selfless atmosphere that prevails.
