Kiyoshiro Imawano Last Live At Kyotokaikan 2008

King OF Rock Kiyoshiro Imawano. The live recording from the final day of his last solo concert, "Kiyoshiro Imawano Complete Resurrection Festival Additional Performance" held on March 2, 2008 at Kyoto Kaikan First Hall, is finally unveiled. On February 10, 2008, he made a full recovery from his battle with illness during the concert at the Nippon Budokan, and the additional performances were held on February 24 at Osaka Festival Hall and at this Kyoto Kaikan venue. The Kyoto show was performed with a different setlist compared to the previous two venues and would be Kiyoshiro’s last solo performance, as cancer would reoccur later. It has been decided that this live recording will be released as an LP on Kiyoshiro’s birthday, April 2. RC Succession’s close friend Nakaido “Chabo” Reichi and Kozo Niida also participated, creating a festive atmosphere filled with celebration. The anticipation and excitement reached a peak in this additional performance, unlike anything experienced before! The 23 songs, including hits from RC Succession and Kiyoshiro Imawano, such as THE Timers “Day Dream Believer” and the mega-hit song “Ikenai Rouge Magic” not performed during the Budokan show, are now revived on 3 LPs. This performance, switching seamlessly between tension and relaxation, is a landmark in the history of Japanese rock. The stage was captured on camera by the legendary Masayoshi Sukita, who photographed artists such as David Bowie, T. Rex, and Kiyoshiro’s album “Memphis”. The artwork featuring Sukita’s photographs completes this rock 'n' roll masterpiece.
