Item Description
The Young World Band was a short-lived but remarkable collective featuring talented musicians like Ansel Collins, Courtney Stewart, and Frankey Biggs. The lineup also included Keith Francis and Robbie Peart, who would later become members of the iconic band Chalice. Originally released in 1977 on the elusive Maroc label, this track stands as a prime example of deep roots reggae.

Special thanks to Richard McPherson and Ansel Collins for their invaluable contributions to making this reissue possible. From a technical standpoint, we’ve done our best to restore the audio, with assistance from the original musicians in Jamaica. While working with nearly 50-year-old sources has its challenges, we’re confident you’ll still enjoy the result. Our commitment to delivering high-quality reissues remains strong—better to share this music than let it stay unheard.
