Matt Weider, former guitarist for the now defunct New Jersey band MOUTHPIECE, had relocated to Louisville, KY, where he spent time playing in GUILT and the ENKINDELS before settling into his role as frontman for AUTOMATIC. It was during his stay in the ENKINDELS where him and drummer Thommy Browne (BY THE GRACE OF GOD) talked about and decided that they were going to start a straight-edge band. A short time later they recorded their first 7”. The band lasted a few years and although they recorded several EPs, a full-length release did not materialize before their eventual break up.
