Recorded in April 1991 at Studio One, Newark, NJ, Live on Location was to be the grand finale of the Hades legacy. Hades was originally formed back in January 1978. The New Jersey thrash/speed metal band released two critically acclaimed thrash albums in the 1980s; Resisting Success and If At First You Don't Succeed. By the end of the 80's, after a brutal European tour, the band fragmented. However, the band members decided to reform and do one last show for the fans and record it for release. Live On Location was the result of that successful reunion and is a powerful live album and testimony to this band's strength. Officially licensed, the vinyl release features all 13 live tracks for the first time ever. (Original German vinyl pressings omitted one track.) Working with guitarist Dan Lorenzo to get the cover art the band had always imagined, the album features new art and layout by Scott Waters (Hades, Anger As Art, Trytan), utilizing photography from the 1991 Studio One show. The album was meticulously remastered by Rob Colwell (Nevermore, Flotsam & Jetsam, Helstar, Sacred Reich). The vinyl is pressed on emerald green vinyl, has an insert with exclusive photos and liner notes, and is limited to just 200 copies. The deluxe jewel case CD version includes four bonus studio tracks. The deluxe packaging features an outer slipcase with alternative cover art and an 8-page booklet with tons of photos and liner notes. Mastered for vinyl by Rob Colwell, this release ensures that every riff, solo, and thunderous beat is preserved with the utmost fidelity. Live On Location is a must-have-a rare and powerful snapshot of a band that played a crucial role in the development of thrash and speed metal. Iron Jaw play metal in the tradition of Priest, Motorhead, Sabbath, Saxon & Iron Maiden. According to the band, "we call it heavy metal - the younger kids call it rock and roll." Either description is appropriate. The band features a bevy of well-known musicians including Rick Perry - Guitars (Gammacide, Puncture, Warbeast), Randy Cook - Drums (Rotting Corpse), Jeff Brown - Guitars (Toxic, Plague Allegiance), Clay McCarty - Bass (Warlock Texas) and extraordinary vocalist Todd Pack (Horror Cult, Creeper, Hallows Eve). Iron Jaw formed in 2016 and released their debut CD Chain of Command in 2020. This was release was praised by Sentinel Daily who said "my fave new HM band on the planet!" Cursed promises to be one of the best New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal albums of 2025. The band is performing live to support the album, including several well known metal festivals. Roxx Records is once again excited to work on bringing another long lost classic Christian metal album to the spotlight, and this is one we have wanted to do for years. Without further ado, we are stoked to be bringing you classic Christian thrash band MARTYR back to the mainstream with a killer new compilation entitled Once Upon a Tale. What we have here is a culmination of all of the band's history through the years, including two previously unreleased tracks. Martyr stormed on to the thrash/punk crossover scene in the mid-80s, hailing from Van Nuys, California, with their debut 4-song demo entitled Fall on Your Face, recorded in April 1986, and the 9-track demo tape Death Is Dead released in 1987. Martyr would start playing shows and gaining notable notoriety playing with many similar bands including a very high profile show in Porterville, California playing with The Crucified. With the underground success of Death Is Dead, the band would continue on and release their next cassette only 4-track demo tape entitled Imminent Warfare in 1988 and followed that right up the next year in 1989 with the 4-track demo Frantic. But alas, with the competitive metal market and life getting in the way, the band would not continue on much further than those 3 independently released demos. There would be a few attempts to revive the band throughout the years, and ultimately in 1993 released the compilation album Wickenstraut album on CD only, which boasted a total of 18-tracks compiled from those three demos along with a few new tracks added to the mix. After that, we wouldn't hear much from the band again until 2001 when they would put out an extremely limited-edition CD in partnership with Betrayal entitled The Passing of Time, which featured 10-tracks starting with 7-tracks from Martyr, which were a combination of songs from Frantic and Imminent Warfare, along with three previously unreleased tracks and three songs from Betrayal. A very important side note is that Betrayal was born out of the remnants of Martyr. That all leads us to today and my personal excitement for this one, having seen them live only once, I (Bill Bafford - NLTM Records) personally fell in love with the music of Martyr and was constantly pestering the band to work with us. Low and behold Ladislao, with a little help from Chris Ackerman, finally agreed to work with us on this one. Coming Spring 2025 via Roxx Records for the first time ever on vinyl and remastered on CD, we proudly present you with Once Upon a Tale. Once Upon a Tale boasts a total of 10-tracks, featuring tracks from every release the band made and ending with two previously unreleased tracks.

As we stated, technically this is a completely brand new release, as these songs have never even been released before. You are in for a killer treat of classic rock and metal taking you back to the late 80's and early 90's! Here is the story as told by Rob Warner himself... In August of 1988, Heathens Rage, the band I helped form in 1984, was running out of steam. This despite 1988 being the most successful year for the band where we played shows with new singer Gene Geary opening up for The Ramones, Glen Danzig, and Megadeth. From the outside looking in, it appeared we were going full steam ahead firing on all cylinders, but internally things were starting to get challenging. Even though frontman Gene had a great rock 'n' roll voice and swagger, some of the original Heathens Rage fans didn't welcome him with open arms. His voice was nothing like original singer Bob Pisauro, and although there were some great new songs written with Gene, it was very different from the original Heathens Rage material. Fans didn't know what to make of it. On top of that, Gene lived in Brooklyn, New York, so the band had to start rehearsing in Brooklyn or even in New York City sometimes, as well. That made things even more difficult, and it began to put a lot of strain on everyone. Finally, after playing a few shows with the Ramones in the spring of 1988, I had pretty much made up my mind that I needed a change... I decided to leave Heathens Rage and went straight into the studio to record the very first few songs I had written. "Tears in the Night" and "Only for You" were the first two recordings. A month or so later, I went back to the studio to record the ballad "Another Night Alone" and a couple instrumental tracks. I put aside music for a couple of years fully pursuing my hunting passion, but I never stopped playing and writing music. Chris Tereszyn and Mike Lepond from Heathens Rage never stopped playing either. They were both in other bands who played all over the Tri-state area while I was on hiatus. I still talked to Bob Pisauro on occasion, and although he had a new baby and was busy being a dad and working, he still was writing lyrics. I had a bunch of song ideas that were just kind of hard rock songs, so I made tapes of guitar riffs, which I would give to Bob to put lyrics to. After a few weeks of this and repeated conversations with Chris and Bob on the phone, we decided to go into the studio together to record them. These songs were recorded in 1993 by John Swat at S&M Productions in Yardville, New Jersey, where TT Quick had just done some demos. We recorded an album's worth of material, but nothing ever came of it. You are now hearing this music for the first time ever! This CD compiles ALL the tracks recorded by Rob Warner after Heathens Rage and includes the tracks recorded by the former Heathens Rage members which we have dubbed After The Rage. The LP contains 10 tracks including 4 from Warner and 6 from After the Rage.

The band quickly began writing original music. They recorded and released their first 6-song demo, Nothing Is Impossible, in 1988. As a result of the demo, Liar became one of the earliest signings tothe Century Media rosteroverseas, most notable because they were playing a fairly unique hybridof power and thrash metal.
