This 110-minute concert performance from the legendary Allman Brothers Band guitarist was recorded at the Calderone Concert Hall on Long Island, New York on August 11, 1978. The show features thirteen tracks including the ABB classics “Jessica”, Southbound”, “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed”, “Blue Sky” and “Ramblin Man” along with tracks from the 1977 album from his band, Great Southern. The live performance was previously released digitally and on CD in 2017, but this triple LP set will be packaged in a gatefold sleeve with new liner notes and photos.

On their first international tour, in May of 1982, Americana music legends The Blasters were recorded at the Venue in London England. Six of those tracks were released on Slash Records as a 12” EP later that year. Four more tracks were uncovered and included on the Rhino/Warner Bros anthology album Testament in 1997. As part of a new catalog deal for the Blasters recordings with Liberation Hall, the label has uncovered the thirteen remaining tracks and is releasing the complete concert. The show found The Blasters firing on all cylinders as they were taking off in London, after Shakin Stevens’ version of the Dave Alvin-written “Marie Marie” hit the top 20 of the UK charts. It is quintessential listening, and a magical music moment uncovered for any fan of the band. The RSD Black Friday classic black vinyl double LP exclusive is housed in a gatefold sleeve with new liner notes, rare photos and memorabilia images.

It was recorded in October 1980 just as the band’s contract with Sire Records expired, introducing an element of uncertainty into the band’s future. Vinyl LP pressing. The legendary blues guitarist performed at Los Angeles' famed Ash Grove venue on many occasions over the club's decade-and-a-half existence. Ten of the selections on this set are compiled from two separate performances at the club, and none of the performances on the album have previously been available commercially. The album's A-side consists of acoustic tracks from a set recorded on November 29, 1970. The B-side collects a couple of acoustic performances from September 22, 1965, and the disc is rounded out with four electric tracks with his band from Palo Alto's In Your Ear club recorded on August 18, 1971. While most of the tunes are originals, the set lists include some distinctive cover versions of the R&B classics What I'd Say and Hi-Heel Sneakers, along with some folk/gospel nuggets, Don't The Moon Look Pretty and How Long Has It Been. Whether solo or with a band, Hopkins imprints all the tracks with his special electricity... you might call it Lightnin'. The 40-minute live collection LP will have a limited-edition pressing on black vinyl. Includes some rare photos and liner notes.

US-Import. A mix of fourteen rare acoustic and electric tracks from the late country-rock pioneer and legendary member of The Byrds and Kentucky Colonels. The set includes tracks recorded both at the beginning and at the peak of his career, showcasing his critically acclaimed flat-picking guitar style. Features guest players such as Eric Weissberg, the Byrds' Roger McGuinn, Gene Parsons, and Skip Battin, the Flying Burrito Brothers' Byron Berline, and a rare rehearsal performance with the Everly Brothers with Gram Parsons on rhythm guitar.

White said of his guitar technique, ''I always maintain that I'm an electric country guitarist working in rock, rather than a rock n' roll guitarist like, say, Clapton or Beck, who came up through blues.''

He may be best known as the second-longest member of The Byrds and leader of the Kentucky Colonels, but White also left his mark as a pioneer of country rock and his flat-picking guitar stylings; his ability to cross between acoustic and electric made him unique. His session work included recordings with Linda Ronstadt, Joe Cocker, Randy Newman, Rick Nelson, Pat Boone, The Monkees, Arlo Guthrie, and Jackson Browne, among others. In 2009, Eddie Money recorded eight cover songs that appeared on a pair of EPs, released on CD. Those EPs are now being combined and released for the first time on vinyl. In addition to a pair of Beatles classics, the Covers LP also includes rocking versions of songs originally popularized by AC/DC, the Doors, the Four Tops, Green Day, and Train.

Over his career, Eddie Money scored eleven Top 40 pop & rock hits between 1978 and 1991. His self-titled debut album included the classic rock staples "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise" and sold two million albums in the U.S. In 1986, Money scored big again with "Take Me Home Tonight," a Top 5 single that earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. By the late 1990s, Money could be seen in guest spots on The Drew Carey Show and The King of Queens. He sadly passed away in 2019.

Scottish post-punk trio's 11-track best-of collection of 1980s alternative radio and dance rock club hits:Formed in Scotland in 1979, APB were a post-punk trio blending edgy guitars with funk and new wave sounds. The band had many early '80s alternative radio and rock dance club hits including "Shoot You Down", "Rainy Day" and "Palace Filled with Love". Those tracks along with seven others were originally released on the collection Something To Believe In in 1985. This new revised LP adds the group's first single "Chain Reaction" to the set making this its vinyl re-release. The band has recently toured and will be promoting the set with a full publicity campaign. 1970s/'80s San Francisco art-punk band 14-track collection includes remixed tracks and new unearthed, previously unreleased recordings!It's hard to let go of a good thing. More than four decades after The Mutants first appeared on the San Francisco underground music scene, four of the original members are still playing shows together under that name in 2022. After all, mutants are known to mutate, and that's what this colorful, energetic musical collective has been doing off and on since 1977.Perhaps even more surprisingly, the sessions for their lone album, 1982's Fun Terminal, continue to bring forth lost nuggets. In punk and new wave lore, Fun Terminal is considered a troubled project. Prior to the album's appearance, the Mutants had released only one 7-inch single -- 1980s' The Mutants EP -- and the band also had songs featured on two local compilations. Both the EP and one of the compilations were issued by 415 Records, the legendary Bay Area indie that made the jump from the new wave trenches to the majors when they signed a deal with Columbia Records in 1981. Many scenesters felt that the Mutants should have begun album sessions for 415 immediately after the EP, but that didn't happen.Each of the 14 tracks on the new collection, "Curse of the Easily Amused" has either been remixed, or sourced from previously unreleased tapes. "From the band's point of view, each cut is a substantially different version than what might have appeared before," explains current Mutants bassist and project producer Peter Conheim. Eight songs have never been officially released on vinyl or CD in any form. The versions of 'Think Think Think' and 'Tribute to Russ Meyer' feature radically different approaches than what was heard on the Fun Terminal reissue. We recently rediscovered a tape reel that included those songs. The Mutants discarded or forgot about a ridiculous amount of music during its first eight years. Audio quality for all the tracks here is superior to anything that's come before. No overdub...
