'Effective' is the word of the day, as it marks a steady consistency throughout both sides. Kayak is an EP entirely dedicated to highlighting rhythmic compositions and their subsequent effect on the body. A1introduces a multitude of metallic layers, from a consistent ringing tone on the background to the coming and going of highly clanging rides- yet, maintaining pounding low ends. Get2definitely hits the hardgroove shelf of your collection. Second in comes Delta which extends the tribal edge of its predecessor, adding a layer of sensuality and seduction. Engineering a thoughtful interplay between suavity and strength, this track is guaranteed to do the do. Big room killer. Time to flip the vinyl now, and well... Fasten your seatbelts dear listeners and dancers. B1 is fun and dynamic, minimalistic and most importantly, powerful. In between the fuel efficient percussions and drum patterns comes in a witty snippeted vocal, which adds to building up the exquisitely constructed rhythmic tension of the track. Definitely a favorite. Last but not least, everybody welcome Humpty- closer to this stomper EP. Slinky and bulky bass throbs force the hip to get into some heavy swing action. Fast, nervous, incisive. With Rebecca Delle Piane, you really can't go wrong. Class 98', Fondi born and Terracina based Italian artist joins the KEY crew with an unmistakable four tracker EP.

"Creatures of the night" takes our hand into a paranoid and distorted bleepy delirium. Everything is unnerving. A harsh, almost discordant mixture where the title clearly renders the idea of its content.

A2 "Personal Prison", softens down the confusion and guides the listener a bit deeper into the rabbithole... The atmosphere is ominous. Kickdrums are round and steady while crisp, subtle hats fill all the blank 4x4 spots. Seething strings play with odd bells, all rounded off by a rolling, groovy, beat.

Up next goes "La Vita Di Allora", which in italian translates 'the life of back then'- a sentimental title which reminisces an undefined past or moment. The first element which stands out of the composition is a thick, vibrating bassline, which blends in with distorted snippets of the vocal. Definitely a dancefloor weapon for the high momentums... And for sweat.

Last but not least, B2 concludes the release by developing the bleepy madness into a more grounding cut. A smooth grain delay provides texture to the hi's, while toms take your attention to the low frequencies once again. A general sound which will make you feel a different kind of energy. Sinister and cavernous, with a high dose of adrenaline rush. A continuation of KEY's exploration of the abysses of horror-based sonic narrations.

Inaugurating their first ever vinyl release, KEY Vinyl welcomes young Argentinian duo Translate & Pulso.

Mischievous, sci-fi oriented, yet groovy and grounding sounds. And so it goes: "Ocular Optics" initiates the tour by offering a more laid-back, tooly cadence. Common thread between all tracks, A1 introduces a bleepy arp sequence adding dimension to the strong percussive elements. A punchy kick drum and snippets of a vocal top the whole off- one for layering. "Global Agreement" slightly changes the emotional gear to a more sinister, obscure energy. Powerful low frequencies merge with fluent pads and mysterious bleeps creating a very special ambience- tip.

Proceeding on the B side, "Nodes 2962" definitely makes an impression... A macabre soundtrack shadowing the night deeds of Krueger... Lastly, "Backup Quest" extends the eerie atmosphere which is glued beneath rich, atmospheric textures.

Definitely a pick for the dance floors !
