Limited edition of 2000 numbered copies on translucent red coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Incubus carved their own musical niche and earned a huge following by tireless touring and releasing ever-improving quality albums. A Crow Left Of The Murder came out in 2004, and hit the album charts at number two. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who's known for his Pearl Jam production work. O'Brien shaped an album that Incubus needed in this stage of their development: crisp and clean, but still heavy enough to allow for an effective variation between heavy riffing and fine acoustics.

Incubus released their critically acclaimed studio album "Morning View" on 23 October 2001 and was celebrated by fans and the music industry alike. The album went double platinum and spent 60 weeks at number 2 on the Billboard 200.

Now the band is releasing the re-recording of the highly acclaimed double album entitled "Morning View XXIII".

"About 23 years ago, we rented a house by the sea to start an art experiment. The unfamiliar and expansive surroundings helped us find the FLOW state we had been longing for, and the songs that became known as 'Morning View' have since become an integral and important part of our lives," says Brandon Boyd.

"That album helped make our little art experiment called 'Incubus' a way of life, and here we are, some 23 years later, ushering in a new phase of its existence. 'Morning View XXIII' is a re-recording of the 2001 album and is the result of our desire to honour this legacy, but also to reinterpret it as musicians who have played these songs night after night with much love over the last 23 years. See you on the road soon!"

If Not Now, When? is the comeback album by Incubus after a half decade hiatus. Just like their success albums A Crow Left Of The Murder... and Light Grenades, Brendan O'Brien covered the production for the band. The producer, who is best known for producing records for Pearl Jam, Korn and Audioslave, helped reinventing their sound. The band's seventh installment is recognized by less use of guitars compared to their earlier works. The album reached #2 in the US Billboard Charts. Singles “Adolescents” and “Promises, Promises” ended up in the Billboard Alternative and Rock Charts.

If Not Now, When? is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl and includes printed innersleeves.

Tireless escapades

Before stepping into the spotlight and making their music a staple for alternative rock fans, the members of Incubus embarked on a journey of passion, perseverance and countless gigs in small venues. The band’s foundation was laid in Calabasas, California, when high school friends Brandon Boyd (vocals), Mike Einziger (guitar) and Jose Pasillas (drums) formed a musical bond that would shape their future. Incubus lived a humble life and dedicated themselves heart and soul to their craft, spending tireless hours in their garages and local studios. They tried out different styles of music, experimenting with funk, metal and rock as they gradually developed their own distinctive sound. As the line-up solidified with bassist Alex “Dirk Lance” Katunich and turntablist Chris Kilmore, the band’s identity began to take shape. Their relentless pursuit of success led them to perform in seedy bars and clubs, where their electrifying live shows gradually attracted a loyal fan base. Word of their high-energy performances spread, and their self-released vinyl Fungus Amongus began to attract attention in the underground scene. Despite numerous hurdles and financial challenges, the members of Incubus were not discouraged. They toured the West Coast tirelessly, seeking opportunities to showcase their music and hone their skills as songwriters and performers. Their persistence eventually caught the attention of record labels and led to a contract with Epic Records. Little did they know that the road to stardom had just begun.

Staying true to the vision

Beginning with their breakthrough album Make Yourself in 1999, which included hits like Pardon Me and Drive, Incubus continued their success with Morning View in 2001. This vinyl showed their melodic abilities with tracks like Wish You Were Here and Nice to Know You. In 2004, they released A Crow Left of the Murder…. with the politically charged Megalomaniac and the introspective Talk Shows on Mute. With 2006’s Light Grenades, the band expanded their musical boundaries by incorporating elements of electronica and acoustic ballads into their repertoire. In subsequent releases, Incubus continued to experiment with their sound. Monuments and Melodies (2009) featured a collection of their greatest hits as well as two new tracks, while If Not Now, When? (2011) took a softer and more introspective approach that underscored their evolution as musicians. Throughout the 2000s, Incubus delivered thought-provoking lyrics, memorable hooks and powerful instrumentals. Their ability to reinvent themselves while staying true to their artistic vision has cemented their place in rock music history.

Electrifying live shows and the Make Yourself Foundation.

In addition to their studio recordings, Incubus also showcased their energy and musicianship during their live performances. Frontman Brandon Boyd’s dynamic stage presence, coupled with the band’s tight chemistry, created an electrifying atmosphere at their shows. Their ability to captivate audiences with their raw intensity and genre-bending prowess further contributed to their influence. Furthermore, Incubus’ influence went beyond their music. They were actively involved in philanthropy and environmental protection, promoting positive change through their Make Yourself Foundation. Their commitment to social and environmental causes inspired their fans to take action and make a difference in their own communities. With their genre-bending sound, introspective lyrics and captivating live performances, they captured the hearts of fans worldwide.
