Recorded in Beijing in 2002 and out of print for over 15 years, Compuesto de Hierro was originally released only on CD and now for the first time on double vinyl including on side D four new and unreleased tracks recorded in 2022, inspired by the music on the album. Now remastered for vinyl, the sleeve design is based on the original cover."Compuesto de Hierro" is the most perfect example of the industrial-tribal sound of Esplendor Geométrico, developed over more than two decades, reminding us at times of their most "ethnic" album "Mekano-Turbo". The hypnotic and elaborate rhythms are masterfully combined with teatred vocals, electronic analogue sounds, and sonorities from the Far East, especially from China. "Compuesto de Hierro" represents a unique viewpoint in the fusion of traditional or ethnic music with classical industrial music.Limited and numbered edition of 600 copies.Tracks from sides A, B & C: Originally released only on CD (Geometrik Records 2002), recorded in Beijing.Tracks from side D: Unreleased, recorded in Madrid & Rome in 2022.Esplendor Geométrico: Arturo Lanz & Saverio EvangelistaComposed by Arturo LanzDesign: Alonso Urbanos & Andrés Noarbe (original cover)Remastered 2022 by Luca Spagnoletti

HIGHLIGHTSMekano-Turbo (Discos Esplendor Geométrico.LP 1988) is the fourth album and a classic inside the discography of legendary and influential Spanish Industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico. Now available again in its original format, remastered in 2022, and unavailable on vinyl for more than 11 years.DESCRIPTION Finally, the fury is unleashed in all its splendour. The superb three initial tracks are pure rhythmic adrenaline on which is supported the totally runaway voice of Arturo Lanz. "Rotor" would be even considered as a not intentioned approximation to the electronic body music. In the same wave are also located "Belew" and "Mekano-Turbo". On the other hand, it seems to be that the residence of Gabriel in Melilla (North Africa) and the consequent proximity of the arabic culture it influences on some tracks ("Sheikh", "Transmisión"). Considered by the media and many fans as a masterpiece of the group. The wonderful cover continues the customary line of showing strange machines or decadent industrial buildings.Considered by many fans as a masterpiece of the group and a industrial classic of the eighties.

HIGHLIGHTSReissue on vinyl limited to 600 numbered copies celebrating the 40th anniversary of Esplendor Geométrico's first LP: El Acero del Partido / Héroe del trabajo (1982).DESCRIPTION Considered a masterpiece of industrial music from the eighties, it's the record where they started to define their unique style. Already devoid of aggressive lyrics and even titles for their tracks, the sound begins to acquire a personality of its own, with an astounding austerity. Repetitive litanies infected by impossible machine sounds, noisy buzzes, organized metallurgy and newscasts from the East Europe, that glare by moments. Seven instrumental tracks of repetitive mechanical rhythms than paint a landscape of abandoned factories and rusty machinery.Remastered in 2022 and unavailable on vinyl for more than 10 years! The original cover is preserved and includes an exclusive collage-insert with rare photos and texts. A great classic!

Limited Edition of 500 Copies Only! Double Vinyl incl. 8-Page A4 Booklet Incl. Images, Photos + 2 Exclusive Texts, in Spanish and English, by Francisco Felipe (La Otra Cara de un Jardin) and Andrés Noarbe. The underground electronic scene in Madrid during the eighties was agglutinated largely around cassette seals such as Toracic Tapes (directed by Miguel A. Ruiz), I.E.P. (founded by musician Luis Mesa), Proceso Uvegraf (by Juan Teruel), and EGK (the sublabel for cassettes of Discos Esplendor Geométrico). CRONICA TÉCNICA is a compilation of themes from this scene recorded between 1981 and 1991, most of which were originally published on cassette, and which focused mainly on Industrial, noise and experimental music. Some of the musicians, such as Uvegraf or Miguel A. Ruiz, are still active.Followers of the Industrial music and the experimental underground of the seventies and eighties (the first discs of TG and Cabaret Voltaire, Esplendor Geométrico, Maurizio Bianchi, SPK, Asmus Tietchens, etc.) will appreciate and be surprised with this selection for its quality, specially thinking that this music has been kept hidden in the totally unknown since then. The selection was made by Andrés Noarbe, manager and editor of Esplendor Geométrico since its' founding in 1980 and director of the pioneer label in publishing electronic music in Spain: Discos E.G. (now Geometrik Records). He lived this movement of cassette labels in Spain in the first row from the beginning, and met most of its protagonists. None knows the scene best, plus he has kept in the scene ever since then.CRONICA TÉCNICA is edited by Geometrik Records in collaboration with Munster Rec., and is the second volume of the Spanish Underground Cassette Movement series after the first one: Fungus Cerebri, dedicated entirely to Esplendor Geométrico and still available. More volumes will soon follow. Stay alert!

In 1986 Miguel A. Ruiz released his first cassette on his own label Toracic Tapes. Since then he has remained active in the international network of underground electronic music. He has composed many solo albums in all formats, especially on cassette, under different names such as Funeral Souvenir, Exhaustor, Michel Des Airlines, Ventral Metaphor, Orfeon Gagarin, and his own: Miguel A. Ruiz. His first vinyl LP was "Encuentros en la Tercera Edad" (1991) produced by the German electronics master Asmus Tietchens on his label Hamburger Musikgesellschaft. In the following years, and up to the present day, he has published with other respected international labels like, Old Europa Café, Aquarelist, Monochrome Vision, Menstrual Recordings, Abstrakce, Geometrik Records_ Ruiz has also collaborated with musicians all over the world such as Cisfinitum (Codachrom), Siegmar Fricke (Efficient Refineries) Dieter Mauson, Francisco López and Stefano Barban. Ruiz's style is fantastic and surprising, with an imagination that can be considered overwhelming. Science, technology, Soviet space era, Borges, surrealism, clinical pathologies, black humor or extra-planetary life_, whatever eccentricity has a place within the microcosm of this artist. His music is considered bizarre, surreal, dark and funny at the same time, using in a very personal and original way very different styles in an amazing and unique universe. After the last two albums as Orfeon Gagarin, 'Voces a 45' (Geometrik-Munster, 2019) and 'Salmos Funiculares' (Artificial Owl, 2022), now he presents a new album: ORFEON GAGARIN & THE SUPERMOON ORCHESTRA, which includes 8 gems of extraterrestrial electronic pseudo-pop. The perfect music for an intergalactic party, where he shows his fascination of the sonic possibilities of old synthesizers and other analog electronic instruments.

The legend continues. After recording an album of the amazing new project ASA together with Uwe Schmidt/ATOM TM (Raster 2023), the pioneer cult band Esplendor Geométrico offers us their new album, Strepitus Rhythmicus, of machine-like and futuristic post-industrial music. Electric pulse of mechanical rhythms, hidden voices, and factory noises. E.G. reinvent themselves again and again without losing their unique essence. Based now in Islamabad and Rome, Arturo Lanz & Saverio Evangelista have not stopped their live performances all over the world in the last years with great success.

Javier Hernando is a pioneer musician and a hidden talent in the Spanish electronic music scene. His long career, since the early eighties, currently has its maximum creative delivery in Dómina Esteléctrica, his first album in vinyl format. Hernando's music, which reveals a post-industrial landscape alternating with more peaceful contours of erratic calmness, transits in this album to a mediumship of sinister resonance alternating with evocative and expressive synthetic constructions. Javier Hernando's musical journey began in 1979 with his first band, Xeerox. In 1981, he embarked on his first fully electronic project, Melodinamika Sensor, which continued until 1985. During that year, three tracks by M.S. were featured on a compilation LP titled "GR002.4 Grupos de Barcelona," released by Discos Esplendor Geométrico. This compilation showcased four bands from the thriving Barcelona underground scene. From 1985 to the early nineties, Hernando co-directed the cassette label Ortega y Cassette, while also hosting "Los Silencios de la Radio" on Radio PICA. This radio program was dedicated to showcasing electronic and experimental music. In the nineties, he released new works in cassette format, including two albums on Toracic Tapes, and later published the CD "Luz Nacarina" through Geometrik Records. Subsequent releases took listeners on a journey through post-industrial landscapes, interspersed with moments of serene tranquility. These releases gained notable recognition from Geometrik, as well as other respected labels such as Alku, con-v, Nostalgie de la Boue, Anòmia, Novak, and República Ibérica Ruidista. More recent works have revealed a shift towards harmonious compositions, evident in albums like "Jardín Náufrago" released on La Olla Express. Hernando has also explored poetic atmospheres in collaborations such as the CD-book "El Archipiélago Sideral" with artist Juan Miguel Muñoz, and "Vacuola," his latest release on WD Records, in collaboration with Angel Lalinde. Currently, Hernando's...

Juan Manuel Cidrón, hailing from Almeria (Andalusia), is a legendary Spanish synthesist who embarked on his musical journey in 1976. A veteran of analog electronic sounds, his early influences come from the Berlin School of the seventies (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, etc.) and American Minimal music. Cidrón has independently released 16 albums on his label, Extrarradio, with very limited distribution. 'SLG3' is a long-awaited double album with four lengthy tracks (one per side), available in a limited edition of 300 copies. It's the first release exclusively on vinyl in over a decade (since 'Patagón' on Geometrik in 2012), considering that Cidrón has mainly released his recent works on CD. "Juan Manuel Cidrón has always been immersed in music. As a child, he fell in love with a radio adorned with flashing lights - radio is now one of his professions. He was equally captivated by the music that enveloped him. With whatever little money he had as a child and during his youth, he would spend all his money on records and analog machines. Music is everything to him, and that's why we understand his compositions as a celebration of life. The vastness that his electronic keyboards offer us is akin to the immensity of the desert, snow, and wind. Albums like 'Tau' or 'Sonido Para Acciones' belong to the realm of Spanish electronic music and are cherished by enthusiasts of sonic poetry. This vinyl edition holds a special place as it marks a return to analog, a medium Cidrón reveres and continues to embrace. In this way, it becomes a classic, a testament to his unwavering commitment to the quality that arises from the harmonious blend of natural and artificial rhythms. The result is always him: a tangible presence that brings us closer to dreams and the unadorned face of the world." (F. Labordeta Blanco) "The tracks S, L, and G evoke the personal perceptions that I could imagine for each of the three elements comprising our planet in all its forms, manifestations, and presences. The track '...

Special reissue, with a bonus LP!, of Pulsión: an album from Esplendor Geométrico originally released in 2009 and not available on vinyl for more than twelve years. Includes for the first time on vinyl the 5 exclusive tracks from the original CD version. Remastered in 2023. Limited to 600 numbered copies. New cover design by Juan Carlos Sastre, founding member of E.G., inspired by the original one. - Esplendor Geométrico style continues having a unique and unmistakable mark that distinguishes them from later bands they have had influence onto. At first sight, Pulsión is pure Industrial hypnosis based on the electronic manipulation of sounds together with irresistible rhythms, repetitive, machine-like, industrial, hypnotic, sometimes tribal, sometimes danceable, that mix up with voices and chants. Some of them are taken from traditional Arab and oriental music (Mongolia, China, Tibet_) to be later electronically manipulated, others are simply speech fragments, as the one of a leader of a radical political party in Japan, Che Guevara, or an anti-occidental harangue from an islamist leader. But the idea of EG is not to transmit any political or ideological message, the sources have been chosen for their strength and sonority.6 tracks originally released on LP (GR2115LP. Geometrik 2009), 5 bonus tracks originally released on CD only (GR2115CD. Geometrik 2009)plus one brand new extra track/remix.

'Kosmos Kino' (1988), Spanish Industrial classic album by Esplendor Geométrico, has been unavailable on vinyl for more than 12 years, now out on limited, numbered, and remastered 2023 edition! - Kosmos Kino is the third album of the influential Spanish Industrial cult band Esplendor Geométrico. Recorded and originally published in 1988 and unavailable on vinyl for many years, now available again in its original format. Remastered in 2023, this release reproduces the original cover but with a different exclusive artwork on the back cover. After a start in which the line of acute distortions and buzzy basses of their previous albums continues, it follows a surprising rhythmic viscerality, reaching its peak in the track "Trybuna Robotnicza", suitable for the most frantic dance and one of the greatest moments in their vast discography.ESPLENDOR GEOMETRICO 1980-2022: Arturo Lanz (only active member since the beginning), Gabriel Riaza (until 1991), Juan Carlos Sastre (until 1982), Saverio Evangelista (since 1991). Andrés Noarbe is considered an E.G. member in the shadows since 1980, working as manager, advisor, designer, and editor (head of Discos E.G. from 1986 to 1990 and currently of Geometrik Records).[ENG]ESPLENDOR GEOMÉTRICO BIOBorn in 1980 as a trio, and currently a duo formed by Arturo Lanz (founding member) and Saverio Evangelista (member since 1991), Esplendor Geométrico is an influential and international cult band and also a rare case in the Spanish music scene, as they have developed their own independent path aside from tags, fashion, or trends, in spite of being often classified as industrial music. Their career during this four decades hasn't had interruptions. They haven't stopped composing, releasing albums or playing live (with more intensity since the nineties), and they have continued for the simple pleasure of making music. E.G. soon achieved a personal and distinct style that can be appreciated from their 80's albums, when they used analog synthesizers and pri...
