The Fred Perry Dress pays homage to the legendary Fred Perry polo shirt designs, worshiped by brit-pop legends, rude girls, mods, tennis players and other good girls out of the UK. We all know the deal: In 1952, professional tennis player Fred Perry launched what was to be his most famous garment: A cotton pique polo shirt with the world-famous Laurel Wreath embroidery. From the beginning, Fred Perry - and the tipped pique shirt in particular - has been associated with a whole series of subcultures driven by musical affinities. And it's still one of the top 10 streetwear items for those in the know. Also known as the D6000, the Fred Perry Dress features a rib collar and rib cuffs, a button placket at chest as well as Fred Perry's Laurel Wreath embroidery at left chest. It's equipped with a regular, sporty fit, plus the piqué fabric made from 98% BCI cotton (Better Cotton), 2% elastane, the sewing thread consists of recycled polyester.
