In the 1940s and 1950s, a traditional outdoor manufacturer in the United States designed the original version of the Sportsman Coat by Beams Plus. This is a modern take of the lined hunting jacket. The classic aesthetic of the original design has been retained, but the pockets and silhouette have been redesigned for a contemporary look. The Sportsman Coat by Beams Plus is full of sophisticated details, such as a detachable hood, ribbed cuffs for added protection against the cold, and tartan-patterned lining. The cut is relaxed, so this Beams Plus jacket can easily be worn over various clothing pieces. The main material of the Sportsman Coat by Beams Plus is Japanese nylon Taslan Oxford fabric, which was produced in Hokuriku (Komatsu Matere). It is processed in a procedure to create wrinkles and texture, and as a finish the fabric receives a special coating.
