Alan Kwan, a highly skilled jazz guitarist from Hong Kong, studied jazz guitar in the U.S. in 2009 and made his debut in New York. He returned to his hometown in 2019, where he has been active as a jazz musician. He has been nominated seven times for the Golden Melody Awards, regarded as the Grammy Awards of the Chinese-speaking world, and won the award for Best Album Producer. Masaki Hayashi, as a pianist and composer, focuses on solo performances featuring his own compositions, as well as projects like "Ma wo Kanaderu," which centers on acoustic ensemble performances. He has collaborated with a wide range of musicians, including Lisa Ono, Sadao Watanabe, Naruyoshi Kikuchi, Asuka Mali, Seigen Tokuzawa, Kazuma Fujimoto, and akiko, engaging in acoustic performances. His unique style, which fuses static songwriting imbued with subtle humor and delicate performance, incorporates various musical elements, and has earned high praise both domestically and internationally. He has also been involved in numerous studio sessions for a diverse array of artists, including Jun Miyake and Ringo Sheena.
