The Chameleons seminal debut album 'Script of the Bridge' restored and re-mastered for vinyl at Abbey Road Studios, London. The package contains two heavyweight (180g) vinyl discs together with a free digital download code. The restoration project was undertaken by production team Guy Massey and Steve Rooke, who received a Grammy Award for their work on the Beatles Box Set. Guy Massey quotes Script of the Bridge as an influential album on his career.This is the first time that 'Script of the Bridge' has been made available as a 'double album'. By dividing the tracks onto two 12" discs, the sound quality greatly increases with none of the compression that hampered the original Chameleons vinyl. Working from original studio tapes, the production pair painstakingly restored the album song by song, to create what the band believe is the truest reflection of how the recordings were meant to be. The two 12" discs are in white poly bags inserted into spined LP sleeve, featuring exclusive new artwork by The Chameleons guitarist Reg Smithies. Shrink-wrapped and stickered.

A deluxe, re-mastered, 3-disc vinyl edition of The Chameleons classic studio album ‘Strange Times’, released with the full co-operation of the band.This brand-new package features 3 x heavyweight, coloured vinyl in a triple gatefold sleeve featuring new artwork by guitarist Reg Smithies. The album has been re-mastered by Guy Massey (who undertook the Script of the Bridge restoration) and cut at Abbey Road by Frank Arkwright. Previous vinyl versions of Strange Times were compromised by the running time of the LP (at least ten minutes longer than any pressing plant recommends). A sound that influenced a generation of musicians and still reverberates across the globe today with fans old and new. The LP is presented on 2 x heavyweight Colored Vinyl discs in a wide spine sleeve featuring a brand new cover drawing by guitarist Reg Smithies. All tracks have been expertly re-mastered for this release. Disc 1 - Dali's Picture - is a collection of early studio recordings that pre-date Script of the Bridge and features early versions of well-known songs such as 'Monkeyland', 'Nostalgia' and 'Less Than Human' as well as 'Dreams in Celluloid', an early take on 'Second Skin' with entirely alternative lyrics. Disc 2 - Auffuhrung in Berlin - is a live concert from 1983 showing the band on full throttle belting out songs from Script of the Bridge and showcasing early versions of songs that would later appear on the band's second studio album - tracks such as 'Singing Rule Britannia', 'One Flesh'; and 'Perfume Garden' performed here with many interesting lyrical differences.
