Radio City is the 1974 follow up to Big Star’s debut, #1 Record. The critically acclaimed, Memphis-based band is often credited with creating the power pop sound, and has become a cult favorite over the years. Remastered from the analog stereo masters, this reissue will allow fans to appreciate Radio City as a standalone release. This is the first time in many years that this version of the album will be sold independently of #1 Record.One half of Big Star’s songwriting duo, Chris Bell, made the decision to leave the band following the 1972 release of #1 Record, which left Alex Chilton at the helm as primary songwriter on album number two. The loose concept of the album is addressing the growing trend of violence in hip-hop music at the time, notably from gangsta rap. He addresses this satirically in the over-the-top single "Slaughtahouse". The album infuses West Coast funk-influenced beats with rough "New York rhyming." SlaughtaHouse was mainly produced in-house by members of the I.N.C. such as Uneek, Ase One (Masta Ace's producer alias) and the production duo The Bluez Brothas; consisting of Lord Digga and Witchdoc.

Under the Influences, the second solo album from Social Distortion's Mike Ness, is a compilation of country, rock, and bluegrass covers released just six months after his first solo effort, Cheating at Solitaire. As the title implies, Ness intends the album to be an illustration of the music that shaped him. Songs as diverse as "I Fought the Law" and "Wildwood Flower" make their appearance, each with Mike Ness's unique spin. Included is a honky tonk version of Social Distortion staple, "Ball and Chain". In 1999, Ness released his first country-influenced solo album, Cheating at Solitaire. Ness continued in this vein, releasing a compilation of country covers entitled Under the Influences that same year. Both albums came out on Time Bomb Recordings.

Double vinyl LP pressing. The Rising Tide is the fourth and final studio album by American Seattle-based indie-rock band Sunny Day Real Estate originally released in June, 2000. Sunny Day Real Estate was one of the early Midwest emo bands and helped establish the genre. In 1994, the band released their debut album Diary on Sub Pop Records to critical acclaim. However, shortly after releasing their second album LP2, the band broke up, with members Nate Mendel and William Goldsmith joining Foo Fighters and Jeremy Enigk embarking on a solo career. In 1997, they regrouped long enough to record two more studio albums and a live album but ultimately disbanded once again in 2001.

“Walk the Line: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” is the soundtrack album to the 2005 biographical drama film of the same name released November, 2005. There are nine songs performed by Joaquin Phoenix (as Johnny Cash), four songs by Reese Witherspoon (as June Carter Cash), one song by Waylon Payne (as Jerry Lee Lewis), one song by Johnathan Rice (as Roy Orbison), two songs by Tyler Hilton (as Elvis Presley), and one song by Shooter Jennings (as Waylon Jennings).

At the Golden Globe Awards Joaquin Phoenix was awarded the Best Actor - Musical or Comedy and Reese Witherspoon was awarded the Best Actress - Musical or Comedy, as well as the film won the Best Picture - Musical or Comedy. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon were also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor and Best Actress, which Witherspoon won.

The cover features the two stars in an early publicity still, several of which were included as bonus postcards in the Collector's Edition DVD.

As of May 17, 2006 the soundtrack was certified platinum by the RIAA with over 1,000,000 copies sold.

On February 11, 2007 this album won a Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.
