New Balance Allerdale Made in UK (Tortoise Shell)

In 1982, New Balance started manufacturing selected sneakers in the United Kingdom, initially in in Workington, then in the legendary Flimby factory. Paying tribute to the former district Flimby resided in, New Balance will introduce a fresh runner to the Made in UK series: the New Balance Allerdale. Allerdale is well-known for its stunning landscapes and historical sites, including parts of Lake District National Park as well as the Solway Coast. As for the New Balance Allerdale, the design is inspired by refined casual footwear mixed with hiking characteristics such as D-ring eyelets for speed lacing - the graphic highlight is the woven New Balance Allerdale landscape label, which has been applied to the rear of the tongue.
