adidas Superstar 82 (Footwear White / Core Black / Off White)

The superstar by adidas is an institution in the sneaker landscape and has been for a long time. That's why the title of this adidas icon also describes its status. No other footwear design has as many fans from so many different cultural backgrounds as this model, which is partly due to its minimalist design and partly to its exceptional comfort for its age. Since the Superstar hit the market in 1969, its influence on the design of athletic footwear has been enormous. For example, it was one of the first sneakers to be able to make a name for itself through clearly defined branding. And there probably aren't too many shoes that have had songs dedicated to them (okay, the Superstar wasn't mentioned by name in Run DMC's “My adidas” – but we all know what the three guys from Queens were talking about in that song). The adidas Originals Superstar 82 relies on features such as a full-grain leather upper, a significant rubber shell toe and 3 Stripes tapes and Trefoil branding in the proven spots, as well as a durable leather lining, a foamed insole and, of course, the non-slip, abrasion-resistent rubber cupsole with the time-tested herringbone-patterned outsole.
