Twenty-five years have zipped by since their explosive debut the Briefs are celebrating their quarter-century anniversary as frantic, energetic, and snotty as ever. The iconic bleach blonde brutes are riding high on this milestone, fresh off a successful summer 2024 European tour and gearing up for a US West Coast tour this fall. Re-energized and ready to make noise, the Briefs stormed Berlin's Smail Shock Studio over the summer, emerging with the scorching new 7" record: "High Society b/w You Move Me" primed for a November 2024 release. Sewing together a tattered tapestry of 70s-style punk—with a nod toward Dangerhouse Records, Devo, Thrasher Magazine, and ABBA—the band's infectious songwriting style remains as sticky as industrial hold hairspray. For this unstoppable force, the radiation is still in the water and—good news for our species—their Punk Rock mutations are alive and kicking.
