This 2LP album collection presents some of the best and unique music that could be found on rare records released by the Swedish Christian communities between 1969-1979.
Between doubt and faith, there was way out pop, gospel, funk, rock and psychedelic sounds with wah-wah fuzz guitars and conga rhythms. The common determinator: to spread the Christian message through music.
Several of these cuts are from ultra-rare records that are known only to collectors, while others are from records so obscure that only a few copies are known to exist.
One can compare some of the musical expressions of the Swedish Free Churches with the burgeoning Swedish “progg” music movement of the time. They share the same experimental musical moods, lyrical messages about love and community, justice, and international solidarity, but the recordings presented here also incorporate the Holy Trinity.
Like the man it praised, much of this music was misunderstood in its time. But to a new generation of listeners, whether they seek salvation or soulfulness, these tracks may be a gospel that finally reaches its true believers.

Tack for Kaffet (So Long) is a tribute to the deceased band members and dearest friends Torbjörn Abelli and Thomas Mera Gartz. The sounds were captured on tape in their music workshop in the countryside and consists mainly of improvised moments where the sounds travels beyond time and space, something that has been TGS hallmark over the years. Perhaps there’s a form of melancholy over some of the album, much depending on how cruelly and suddenly Mera and Torbjorn passed away, but also on a little lighter and crazier whim. Everything is recorded live so there are no euphemistic circumstances, rather everything is pared down, bared bone drones, sounds traveling in the magical improvised unknown with no makeup, just as life can be when the feeling has control. A manifestation of improvised timelessly organic music and free creation. Real life!

The sole album from this male-female duo is a lost gem from the heart of the psychedelic 1970s. A long-time cult item and highly praised in the Acid Archives book. This reissue includes a bonus track, extensive liner notes, photos and multicolored vinyl. Composed and self-produced in Nashville, Mosaics went unnoticed by the music industry upon release. While almost unknown outside specialist circles, it has been a long-time underground cult favorite. The combination of top-level songwriting, skillful guitar/keyboard arrangements and soaring vocals is just too impressive to ignore. And beyond these obvious qualities, the album has something subtle and unique, a magnetic power that keeps drawing the listener back.
