First-ever proper vinyl reissue of this Japanese masterpiece. Remastered from the original tapes, it includes a replica of the original insert, and a poster with a beautiful photo and in the other side translated lyrics and an extensive text by Chihiro Yoshikawa.Originally released as a picture disc only in 1986, this is D-Day's first LP, presenting a beautiful mix of Minimal Synth, New Wave, and Bossa Nova. Reissued now on classic black vinyl.The band was formed in October 1982 and became well-known in the Japanese indie scene. They spent over 200 hours in the studio for recording. At that time, even for major label bands, it didn't take that much time to record an album. However, as D-DAY was not a major label band, they were free to craft their own narrative. Thus, they had a lot of time to experiment with their dreamy melodies, whisper-like vocals, programmed beats, swirling guitars... "The drum that the rhythm of a clock, the bass that synchronizes with the beat of your heart, the sound of the guitar that bends time and space, the guidance of the keyboard, and the vocal that speaks to your heart."A unique album!

Syntoma is one of the first bands in Mexico (and in Latin America) whose mix punk with synths and drum machines.Remaster from the original tapes this reissue come with an extra A2 poster with photos, lyrics and liner notes.The song "No Me Puedo Controlar" was included in the compilation "Back Up: Mexican Tecno Pop 1980-1989" released by Dark Entries in 2021.Syntoma is a DIY synth band formed in Mexico City in the early 80's. "No Me Puedo Controlar", the only Syntoma's LP, released in 1983 by the independent labels Corporación Sintética and Trópico Digital, combined the benefits and atrocities of speculative science fiction with dystopian opera that opened the doors to new formulas for understanding the progress of human degradation.
