The 2017 groundbreaking debut EP for Tamino-Amir Moharam Fouad, Tamino in short. The grandson of Egyptian actor/musician Moharam Fouad stormed the charts with the brilliant single 'Habibi', a song that envelops itself in a mist of melancholy and gloom. Tamino's phenomenal voice, ranging from a deep croon to a towering falsetto, goes right to the bone. He combines the tradition of the greatest singer-songwriters with his own Arabic roots. EELS is one of those bands that have marked the history of rock forever! With no less than 12 albums to his credit since 1996, the leader of this mythical group, Mark Oliver Everett aka E,has been able to reinvent himself over the years without denying his origins. Recorded in Pasadena, California, the new album was produced by E, Koool G Murder and P-Boo with The Deconstruction Orchestra & Choir and produced by frontman E as well as Mickey Petralia (for his first production for EELS since Electro-Shock Blues, the band's second album released in 1998).
This new record is a faithful reproduction of what EELS represents, both captivating both by the music and by the personality of the 5 members of the group on stage, and sublime through the melodies that follow each other without ever resembling each other where the unique voice of Mark Oliver Everett takes all its power.

destined for vinyl release as a Limited Edition 10” LP Box Set, as well as the kind of creative revelations that only happen when you quit looking around and start looking ahead. Originally, he’d hoped to explode the lingering idea that he was simply a blues-rock guitar player, but that’s why Savage Times touches on everything from garage rock to punk to disco, hip-hop and even some unexpected solo-guitar self-portraiture. But on the way, he also exploded his own idea of what he could do—even maybe who he was, or would be. Savage Times was an experiment as well as an experience, that touched on some of the most personal, social & political elements to date.
