Cambridge Audio. For People Who Listen

Cambridge Audio enriches lives through exceptional sound by making audiophile audio quality accessible to all.

Music is omnipresent. Music makes us who we are. It inspires us, changes us, touches us. Cambridge Audio wants you to hear your favorite music in its best possible form – exactly as the artist intended, without losing anything. Because that’s what the listener deserves. That’s why, for well over half a century, Cambridge Audio has been constantly experimenting, improving, and developing new products to optimize the listening experience.

Many of the people on the Cambridge Audio team are musicians with studio experience themselves, but one thing unites the entire team: a music fan’s perspective. Everything Cambridge Audio does is driven by a love of music because it matters how you perceive it. They strive to make musical moments sound exactly the way they should.

Cambridge Audio has been designing and developing products in London since they set out to bring British sound to listeners’ homes over 50 years ago. However, you listen to your music, Cambridge Audio provides the best possible sound at a fair price.

During the Swingin’ Sixties, three things happened simultaneously: British bands were enjoying unprecedented success around the world, British recording studios were taking the lead in technology worldwide, and British manufacturers were beginning to bring the best hi-fi equipment in the world to market. Britain made its mark on all three counts as studios and manufacturers developed systems that could reproduce artists’ music more authentically than ever before. Over time, this sound became a British trademark, bringing pure listening pleasure home.

At Cambridge Audio, we also take our responsibility to the planet and its people very seriously. HiFi is essential for music fans, and while entertainment fulfills a basic human need, you also need to know your place. Cambridge Audio takes care to treat the earth’s resources with care and treat fellow humans with the respect they deserve. That’s why it’s no surprise that Cambridge Audio is a founding donor to Earth/Percent – the environmental foundation co-founded by Brian Eno. Earth/Percent provides an opportunity for the music industry to support the most impactful organizations addressing the climate emergency.
