Also very important for the high comfort of the Mephisto Peppo is the custom Soft Air technology, the centerpiece of the midsole that's shock-absorbing and reduces hard impact from walking on hard grounds to an absolute minimum. Further signature details of Mephisto's Sonie include the bold tongue that keeps its shape and ranges to the raised U seam at the toe box, leather lining, a leather-covered footbed, the stitched sole as well as the welt-stitched Caoutchouc Lite sole with 1.2 cm high wedge heel plus 3D Mephisto logo. Upper is made from full grain leather plus premium suede, while additional branding includes a Mephisto woven flag label at the collar.
