The Vertex Alpine by Arc'teryx is a completely redesigned version of the classic mountaineering shoe. This Arc'teryx design balances the fit and functionality of trail running shoes with the stability needed for long days on technical terrain. The Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine is comfortably lightweight, waterproof and combines support and protection with a secure ride. The Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole of the Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine GTX offers high frictional values plus edge stability, since it was designed for performance on the trail as well as grip on wet and dry surfaces. A TPU shank and toe cap provide additional protection, while the knitted collar keeps dirt and stones out.
