adidas T-Shirts

adidas was founded in 1920 in Herzogenaurach, Germany, as the Dassler brand by the Dassler bothers, Adi and Rudolf. In 1948 the brothers split business and Adi created the brand name adidas based on the first syllables of his for and surname. Although the world-famous 3 stripes were originally created to keep the foot stable, they soon became adidas’ signature design. adidas always had a major impact on sportsmen worldwide due to the close relationship to top athletes who supported improving the company’s products from day one. Back in the mid-80s the company was hyped by pioneering hip-hop icons Run DMC who sported adidas suits and the famous Superstar sneakers on stage, and even made a song about “My Adidas”. Nowadays adidas Originals seem to be the most-wanted products, thanks to the worldwide lust for authentic retro items and the extensive adidas archives. And it definitely doesn’t hurt to steadily produce top notch collaborations with famed artists like Keith Haring, artists like Missy Elliot plus influental labels like Def Jam.
