"""Tiān Dì Bù Rén"" takes its title from an idiom in the Tao Te Ching, a foundational Daoist text credited to the sage Laozi, where heaven and earth (""Tiān Dì"") are merciless, leaving humanity to fend for itself. If Mù Chè Shān Chū was youthful vigour and idealism, Tiān Dì Bù Rén is clear-eyed maturity. A gaze back into the indifferent heavens.

Over 13 songs, Howie’s signature mix of traditional Chinese instrumentation and experimental soundscapes reflect on human will and human destruction. The interplay between capitalist greed and environment degradation, the conflict between human morality and scientific ethics, the tension between global movement and local pushback. Howie’s songs are conversations in dialectic, a synthesis of opposing positions, emotions and reactions. Tiān Dì Bù Rén tackles parochial nationalism and populist anger in China, observing both Howie’s homeland and the wider world as a dispassionate sage would analyze "" tiānxià"" (‘all under heaven’).

Taken as a whole, the album is nothing less than a new musical language, one that combines the ancient and the modern, the Chinese and the global. Starting from, but not restrained by geography, Tiān Dì Bù Rén circles constantly around the troubled relationship between people and nature. There’s no cynicism here – just a determination to break on through to somewhere new. The Dao urges us to ""Wù Wǒ Liǎng Wàng"" (forget everything including oneself), and Howie Lee’s new album is the soundtrack to forgetting – a meditative apocalypse."

In September 2022, Munir and Boochie spent two days at House Sangkuriang Hotel in Bandung, capturing a series of raw, impromptu recordings. Armed with a Roland Eg-101 and a microphone, they filled various corners of the hotel with spontaneous jams and Indonesian lyrics. The sessions were playful and unpredictable, each take capturing the playful energy of the moment. The result is a vibrant and unfiltered musical experience.

Budak Cinta, which translates to Slave of Love, is an album that showcases the artists’ quirky personalities and playful approach to music. With a humorous take on the ups and downs of love, the album explores the lighthearted side of romance, infusing each track with a comedic twist. It’s all about embracing the thrill and folly of being head over heels, delivered with a wink and a smile.

"This album finished during Munir's 1asia tour, sometimes 'mistakes brings better ending'.

‘The Journey started from Bali, Indonesia, and ended in Seoul, South Korea. In Bali, we hung out at Peels Bali and Potato Head, where Endy met an old friend and felt nostalgia for his visit to Bali around 5 years ago. He noticed many changes in Bali, including rapid traffic and business growth. After landing in Bandung on Saturday, Endy and I relaxed. Endy went home early, but I stayed at Peels Bandung until 3 am. In Bandung, Endy and I enjoyed connecting with the local scene and trying out the local food and wine while staying at Joni’s House. We hung out at his house until midnight. From Bandung, we took a mini travel bus to Cengkareng Airport in Jakarta for our flight to Bangkok, where we had the next gigs at 12x12 Organized by RomRom. They were an amazing Event Organizer, and we enjoyed the small venue and bar, where we also met some old friends. After the event, we had little time to sleep and headed straight to Suvarnabhumi Airport to fly to Seoul. At the check-in in Suvarnabhumi Airport, we encountered a complicated problem due to my visa issue. Endy worked hard to sort it out with the airline staff, and he even joked, ""It's just like a Korean Drama Series."" Fortunately, we managed to get checked in by the last second, thanks to the help of two women working at Thai Airline who made a quick call to the South Korean Embassy. Upon landing at Incheon Airport, we faced some issues with immigration, but my Australian visa came to the rescue, and we were allowed to pass through immigration inspection. It was my first time in Seoul, and we loved the city and the good people at the party, including Mogwaa, Uman, Jesse You, Park Daham, Soulscape and the crew of Modeci Club.'

Sentiments told a story about normal random."
