Inspired by the 15-50™ terrain spike upper, the Asics Gel-Sonoma™ has its roots in the outdoors. These Asics sneakers were originally designed for competitive athletes who run on a variety of surfaces. Currently, the shoe has been modified for asphalt and mountain trails. For the Gel-Sonoma™ 15-50, Asics uses components from the first two Gel-Sonoma™ trail runners. From everyday walking to hiking rocky slopes, the shoe's features provide advanced cushioning and traction on any type of ground.
