Herma Puma was born as the main outlet for south coast DJ / Producer

Pimpernel Jones. His debut album Synchromystic on First Word Records brought together a deep passion for library music and obscure jazz to create a project that blurred the line between Hip Hop album and Beat tape.

Impeccable selections led PJ to share the stage with artists as diverse as Mark Ronson, Nile Rodgers and Dj Cash Money playing at arguably some of the best events and festivals worldwide.

With 20 years of experience sonically sculpting deep, rolling, blissed-out Hip Hop, Herma Puma has released 7” singles with QnC, and delivered remixes for Alice Russell, Stac and J-Live.

His new release, “The Dope EP”, is a well-crafted six-track beat EP released on the Brighton-based underground hip hop label Cheeba Cheeba Records. Its available on October 1st on limited edition transparent green vinyl with original acid blotter artwork print by American artist Tom Lowell. It contains tracks from the forthcoming Meat Tape Beat tape.
